I took pictures of the redesign of my dwelling quarters (before and after). And I was going to post them on the picture thread, but then I realized that I'd end up editing it out in 10 minutes anyway, so I might as well just spare the time waste.

I finally replaced the ugly student desk from Staples with the antique secretary desk. Which I love, love, love. I basically broke my 7 ft tall bookcase in half and did a bit of redesign. It's now half the size and lot more sturdy. I figured it would allow for less junk to be accumulated.

But where will you fit all the books?

Are you making fun of me? I can't remember if it was you or someone else that was making fun of me for having more stuff on my bookcase than book. I know only one shelf on the old bookcase was filled with books. I don't keep very many books when I'm done with them. I also don't buy books anymore. Unless they're 100+ years old.

It wasn't me making fun, but I did notice a low number of books on said shelves.

Like I said, I don't collect stuff anymore. I never know how long I'm going to be somewhere. I move far too often. It's easier(and cheaper) to just refrain from buying and collecting things that I'm probably going to toss away later, while I'm packing for a move,

Nah I wasn't thinking about how few books when I made comment about halving the shelf. It's more a reflection on myself when I am always short of shelf space for books.

I would happily get rid of the tv, computer, bed, and clothes in my house before books. They are my weak point. My vice.

IJWTS- It only took my dad and I 2.5hrs to install my venetian blinds. That's right. Installed those...
