Everyone can paint, one does not have to be good at it in order to benefit from the action. Plus the more you do it, the better you become; you get a feel for how you desire the canvas to look, how paint should be applied, how you should move. It's a development.

Oh it is so wonderful but sometimes its mentally exhausting. One time I spent nearly 22 hours painting, straight. I was drained and felt like all the worries lifted off of my shoulders.

I found cake decorating to be very theraputic. I guess it is whatever you can find that works for you.

I can remember spending hours on a cake and feeling like five minutes passed.

I think I'm going to get back into that when I get moved. I kind of miss it.

I am not good with 'art', per se. My hands hate me. I have something wonderful in my head, and boom, my hands mess it up.

I'll stick with writing I guess.


But much props to people who can decorate, paint, draw, sculpt, etc

This is true. I really should consider taking a painting class.

I think I'm opposite. My brain never has good ideas. I lack creativity the majority of the time, especially when it comes to drawing. At least with ceramics, I can create something with no reference to look at. With drawing, I always need a photo or some sort of object to look at.
