IJWTS; Abandoned Pools = one of the best alternative rock bands around today

IAJWTS; I respond to henchmen and other characters with Batman quotes (in the Bale Batvoice) while playing Batman: Arkham Asylum. Here are some examples:

One time when I couldn't find the last henchman (right before I switched to detective mode) I yelled at the tv (in the Bale Batman voice) "WHERE IS HE?!"

When a henchman asks "what the hell are you?", right before I take him down (as the final blow) "I'M BATMAN" *punches henchman, rendering them unconsious* "Nice coat".

When Szaz had the gaurd wired up in the beginning, I yelled "You don't want to hurt the boy Harvey".

My main computer decided today would be a good day to completely break down, leading to my brother helping out until he decided it was a waste of his time to work on my computer anymore. and oh yes the only actual copies I had of my notes for school and the only copies of the articles for my website that still needed to be uploaded were all on that computer.so much for that

The hard drive may still be functional - but it sounds like you'll need to hook it up to another computer to get your data. USB sticks are cheap nowadays - always a good idea to use one to back up your data.

Having a computer go cactus on ya is always frustrating.

Edit: Make sure it's not something simple like the computer's power supply. They go quite easily - but they are cheap and easy to replace.

My brother thinks its a software issue, since it will turn on. it just gets so far in the boot-up process and freezes.

Its just a weird set-up though; my brother built this computer himself and it has two hard-drives. He had to format the one twice tonight so any data on there is long gone. If my information was backed up to the second drive like it was supposed to be then there's a chance my stuff can be retrieved. It really depends on how cooperative my brother will be on if I can have that checked cuz I haven't a clue how to do it myself
