CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

You know why I prefer a Daim bar to 10 hazelnuts?
Because making the Daim bar last for an entire two hour lecture feels like much more of an achievement than taking your time with 10 hazelnuts. As delicious as nuts are they're just not doing it for me.
Also do you know how hard it is to find a smoothie that does not include banana? Stupid banana.

I'll be doing the same as long my mother is feeling ok to have me go out. She has the flu.

I have a 2.5 hour class, and ideally I would want sugar-free candy to suck on. But it seems even that gets distasteful after a while. Tomorrow I am bringing my Jolly Ranchers (because I couldn't find sugar-free candy at my grocery store), some Wheat Thins, and some strawberries.
