IJWTS I think Josh and I will hit Six Flags Great Adventure instead of Knoebels next weekend. I LIKE Knoebels much better, but it's a 3.5 hour drive, so we'd have to spend a night in a hotel if we went there, which is just more $$. We can get to Six Flags in about 2 hours, so I can drive home same day and skip the cost of a hotel, even though the park prices are much higher.

Anyone feel like meeting up with us there?

I would if I could! Curious, though - does the increased park admission price equal out to less than the cost of a hotel to go to Knoebels? Might be worth figuring out if you haven't already.

IJWTS- that tonight is my last maid of honor dress fitting. Finally have that done. 35 days till the Big Day. And apparently the plan is for all the young couples to go dancing after the wedding but I have no date! So who wants to be my date??? Anyone???

IJWTS- I think my body tried to tell me not to get up today...
in my attempt to get up, one foot got stuck- presumbly wrapped up and tangled in my blanket, the other was knocked off balance by the absence of the other for stability and thus I went face first towards the floor. Thankfully my shoes of the floor cushioned my fall. Still the taste of shoestrings was NOT what I had in mind for breakfast

IJWTS I hope no one reads this and gets offended, but I really feel like people ought to use caution when posting pictures or videos of children on the internet. It is one thing if it is in a private album only friends and family can see but another when the whole internet can see it. They must have no idea what kind of people could be looking at those pictures. I'm sure I've posted kids' pictures at some point in the past, too, but I'll not be doing that again because my eyes have been quite opened to what sort of world this is.

I have a day off from work today, which I really need. The end of the month is a very stressful time at my job, and this month was pretty bad. So today I'm going to go to the library and look for a good book. I hope they have some good Christian books.

I feel the same way. It's why I won't ever post a picture of my nephew on CF or any other forum.

I agree! Though, I posted a picture a few days ago but it does not show her face (not an excuse but still). Also, this is the reason I don't quote those pictures. I'm glad you posted this out...it also reminds me that I need to edit that photo.

I did think about that The Knoebels trip would cost about $110 (for park and hotel, not including gas & food). The Six Flags trip would cost about $85 (for park admission and parking), not including gas & food. I'm still tempted to do Knoebels, though!!! I'll make up my mind sometime before next weekend lol.

Awww you so sweet! I know what you mean, $25 is nothing to sneeze at for me, that's a major chunk o' change. I really hate hotels, though...I'd much rather do it in a one-day trip. I'll be considering all the pro's and con's in the next few days.
