Sad that you’d do that to your child. But it appears I’m in the minority here. Most in the thread have no problem disfiguring their children.
But how does this compare to the damage that Christians have been doing to their children for centuries now. Sure we're all familiar with the oft repeated adage to "
love thy neighbor", but Christian children are just as likely to learn how godless and wicked their neighbor is, as they are to learn to have compassion for them. Transgenderism is just the latest example wherein some Christians have to be dragged kicking and screaming into having compassion for their fellow man. They'd much rather condemn them than accept them. They'd rather stand outside funeral homes with signs saying "
God hates ___", than embrace them as their moral equals.
Oh they'll tell you that it's the sin their condemning not the sinner, but the message, especially to the young and impressionable is the same... "
those" people are evil. And no matter what, there's always going to be someone to fill the role of "
those" people. The world isn't getting more immoral, people are just being people, with one group pushing the boundaries of what's socially acceptable, and another group condemning them to eternal damnation for doing so. Nothing has changed. It's the same story it's always been.
You'll go to your grave preaching hatred, and you'll teach your children to do the same... and you think transgenderism is bad. It's obviously not the pinnacle of human ambition, but it's a step. You think that you're trying to drag the lost into the promised land, I think that it's far more likely that it's them that are dragging you.
