Here's your evidence that Noah's ark is a myth:

The Impossible Voyage of Noah's Ark
by Robert Moore

Scotty,

God often gave His children orders to do something that was beyond their ability to carry out, then supernaturally intervened.

For example:

  • 1. God led Moses and the Israelites to a "dead-end".
[bible]Exodus 14:1-4[/bible]

  • 2. God had Joshua march around a superfortress.
[bible]Joshua 6:3[/bible]

  • 3. God pared Gideon's army down to 300 persons.
[bible]Judges 7:7[/bible]

We need to remember Jesus' words:

[bible]Mark 10:27[/bible]

Had the Ark been just a simple matter of construction, then it would not have been done "by faith", it would have been done "by sight".

[bible]Hebrews 11:7[/bible]

yes and so what?
how does this show the boat was sea-worthy? considering its size and construction, which by the way hebrews was not about but about noah being the only one who knew the flood was going to happen and having faith in god, the fact is there would not be 450 foot trees to build it, it would require you to bolt the wood together and even after doing so, along with sealent the ship would be usless in the flood as people claim the flood was
if the rains and winds and water was as hard as people claim it was it would rip the boat appart or cause the boards of the boat to move and bend and shift from stress
they had boats 500 feet long but they were iron reinforced but they only traveled along coats and never in bad weather.
the ark just was not workable or even possible for 40 days of rain, much less one

Yup --- that's why text books are so expensive.

Now all those books need to be rewritten and reordered.

New students will now have to buy the updated edition, and not rent last year's books.

A small price to pay for the ability to actually learn and grow, rather than stagnating for several hundred years on a single book written by primitives in the Mediterranean.

Um ... at the risk of being too obvious ... had the Ark not been seaworthy, neither you nor I would be here posting about it.

I thought Post 197 cleared that up.

Ya --- I've really grown since I learned Pluto isn't a planet.

Except the flood never happened. If it did, neither you nor I would be here posting about it.

And why do you keep bringing up that completely inconsequential information about Pluto?

And if Huckleberry Finn hadn't really floated down the Mississippi River with a fugative slave, neither you or I would be here posting about it.

I thought Post 197 cleared that up.

An honest mistake -- you forgot to post evidence in 197.

The evidence that the Ark floated is in my mirror --- and yours.
No, that's evidence that we exist. There is no evidence that there was a flood necessitating an Ark, so using our existance as evidence for the Ark floating is a logical fallacy.

Post 197 isn't anything but a demonstrably false claim from an old book. It takes evidence to clear up misconceptions, (it also requires a misconception).

Unless you have water you don't need a boat. And we don't have the water. Hence, we've never had the water. Hence, we've never needed the boat.

I finally figured it out, guys.

The EAC, with the help of their croney scientists, built rocket ship and filled them with the water from the Water Canopy which fell down onto the earth. They gathered it all up and rocketed into the sun, this is why the sun has violent explosions. It's like when fire hisses because you put a little bit of water onto it.

I'm onto you!
