If you could be any character, who would you be?

Hmmmm....the mind boggles. I could definitely do the whole Jedi thing. Or maybe Belgarath. Dresden would be cool, but I do not like pain much, and he get beat on quite frequently. I know, Max from Butcher's other series. Strong, good magic, and a ladies man!

This is probably going to sound strange but that's alright. I've always had insecurity issues myself. I have read the Harry Potter books and last night went to see Order of the Phoenix. In the books, I wasn't quite sure what to think of Luna Lovegood but her portrayal in the movie, that's who I'd want to be. She was beautiful, smart, quirky, totally aware of what others thought of her but talk about being perfectly ok with who she was, regardless of what others thought or said. She's my new hero.

All my characters are guys. Hmm. Somebody write a novel with an awesome girl character already!

Anyway, I'll have to say Obi-wan from Star Wars. I mean, telekinesis, a laser sword, a place on the Jedi Council, a nice retirement home on Tatooine...I'll take it. Plus, Ewan McGregor's pretty hot.

I also get compared to Severus Snape from Harry Potter more than any fictional character. (Because I'm a moody, sarcastic chemist?) Not the most flattering comparison for a twenty-year-old girl, I know, but because there's a slight chance he'll end up doing something marvelously heroic and saving the day, I'll go with him. He's got the greatest sense of humor, after all. And, again, Alan Rickman was at one point pretty hot...

And finally, for the sake of having some pure sci-fi, I'd be Daniel Jackson from Stargate. The old Daniel, before they butchered his character come season 8-9. *grumbles* He doesn't have to do much fighting, but he has all this cool knowledge. And he gets to be ascended!

Christian for Pilgrims Progress. That would be a wonderful story to enact and experience. Two places of interest would be The Valley of the Shadow of Death and the battle that takes place there and then the serenity of the Delectable Mountains.

Think about it...

If you're a Christian...then you are Christian from A Pilgrim's Progress!! :D

If you've never been through the Valley of the Shadow of Death...you will.

If you've never 'battled Apollyon'...you will.

If you havn't yet been through the Delectable Mountains on your way to the Celestial City...you will.

Oh I knooow :) That's why I like it so much, I can relate! Though, in our case, Apollyon comes in many forms, but in this case he is seen for what he is which makes it interesting. And another point about the story setting in general, I'd prefer such a story/Character to be as this which is in a world where God exists and reigns... compared to most other such story places where other powers rule those realms having replaced my LORD and God. Why would I want to be someplace w/o my best friend?

Daniel Jackson would be my first choice. All the things he's experienced: Ascension, dieing 89 billion times and coming back, becoming a prior, etc. Although... all his love interests die, so that stinks. But hey! He's Daniel Jackson!

Teal'c (SG-1) and Jack Carter from Eureka tie for my second choice. Teal'c kicks Sci-Fi backside, and Carter's just cool.

If you could be any character in science fiction or fantasy, who would you be? Movies, tv, books, etc, it doesn't matter. Whose shoes would you like to step into? And why?

Personally I'd be Jadzia Dax from DS9  Her character is very cool and a similar personality to my own. Plus she's in the midst of a great series
Hmm toughie...
Kenshin from samurai x/kenshin
THe Security officer from Marathon
Lord Yupa from nausicaa of the valley of the wind
The Alien from alien
Sah'ot from startide rising
