If you could ask God one question, what would it be?

What were you doing before you made us.

God Bless, metal.
Greetings metal, and God bless you too.

That is a greatly amusing question.

I think God would give us an amusing answer too, since He has a great sense of humour, like you.

I think He would say enjoying His existence up to that time.
He had Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and all the angels to keep Him company.
But oops! A third of them were naughty and rebelled against Him.
He created a new being, man, from the elements of the earth and His breath.
Then He gave man what those naughty angels desperately wanted.
Free will, creative potential, and later through Jesus, eternal life in heaven.
Life was never the same for God again. He would not have it any other way.
Now He has a whole new bunch of children to delight His Father's heart.

Just some fun.:pink:

What were You doing LORD before You made man?

I know we are not limited in the number of questions we can ask God, but I am curious what the most asked question would be.

What would you ask God? Is there an answer you are still seeking?:pink:  Abi

Besides the obvious questions about my/our life and my/our purpose, which are foremost in most of our minds, I would ask about Creation and ask how it exactly happened and when. The Bible is clear on some points and unclear on others. I think this is on purpose to leave room for us to question and work to find answers on.

Wow! Now that's an all inclusive view. Let's start at the very beginning and finish with our ultimate destiny! That is a long question requiring a long answer.
Thank God He has no beinning an end so He can answer all your q's d.

One thing we can be sure of and that is - He did make it!

Mind boggling - Abi :pink:

One question? Is there a guarntee God will answer the question and reveal the answer "not just say It is not for you to know" If so then here it is!

If I could ask one question and I knew for certain that I would have the information that I Seek then the question is of course simple.

When will the end of this age be? Day, hour, minute and second please! No, I do not need that with fries!

Boy, what an answer to have!!!

I would ask him, why did you plant the forbidden fruit tree? Did he know that someone was going to eat it? Were we given freewill before mankind was created? Why plant such a tree?
This is not doctrine I want you to accept.
This is just the way I think about it.
Only God knows the truth.

God is the Tree of Life - He walked in the garden with Adam and Eve.
Satan is the tree of knowledge of good and evil. He was also in the garden.

Eve had never heard a lie until the devil caused her to doubt God's love.
He is the source of all lies. He sowed doubt in her mind by his lies.
Eve had to choose between good and evil. She made the wrong choice.

Adam was not there to protect her. That was his role.
Eve was made with a greater deposit of trust to cooperate.
She trusted what the devil said. She had never been tested.
Free will is about choices. Eve was not a preprogrammed robot.
She made the wrong choice.:sorry:

Because Adam and Eve were one, he shared her fate.
He chose to eat the fruit when she gave it to him.
She did not force him to eat it. He chose to eat.
He was not there to protect her when the enemy came.
They both knew they had disobeyed God.
They both hid from him.

There are many things in our houses that can hurt our children.
We teach them not to touch them and we expect them to listen.
We put them in our houses because we do not expect evil to happen.
Sometimes it does and houses burn down and children are killed.
Parents do not think when they are furnishing their house
"I will put this in my house to test my children."
My children burned the rug many times before they learned
not to touch or run near the heater.:(

This is just the way God has helped me understand what happened to Eve.

I love the scripture you chose. Love in Christ - Abi:pink:

Unfortunately magnum, I think you may have asked the one unaskable question. You may be waiting a long time for an answer to that one.
I don't think even Jesus knew the answer to that one when He was on earth.

You certainly have your thinking cap on! Abi:pink:

I can see when you get to heaven you are going to monopolize God's time!
You remind me of my son who always wanted to know "Why?"

As far as I know He spoke the world into being through Jesus, since nothing was made without Him (it says it in John 1). We also know the Holy Spirit had a hand in it - He was hovering over the face of the waters (Genesis).

I guess you are being taught patience and leadership abilities, that's why He has given you two younger brothers, so you get used to dealing with troublesome people.

God causes the sun to shine on the good and the evil person. The world, the flesh and the devil cause much suffering, not God, although He does use it to grow us to maturity (turns it around to our benefit).

We are often quick to blame God for things and slow to give Him the glory.
If we do something good we say, "look what I have achieved."
Sometimes when bad things happen to us we say, "Look what God did."
We cannot have our cake and eat it too.
If that is too colloquial an expression for you try: double standard.
I was fooled by this worldly way of thinking for the longest time.
But God opened my eyes - Hallelujah!

I pray God answers all your questions 4 Christ88.

Love your enquiring mind - Abi:pink:
