indeed.Curious how all the animals are designed as
predators or prey.
The eagle is really not made to be
pulling carrots or grazing in the meadow,
no whale could possibly live on seaweed.
A gazelle doesn't need great speed to
get to the next bush.
Probably not too long, as Adam and Eve were instructed to have children, and Eve wasn't even with child yet.I wonder: how long before the end of the creation process and the Fall? Do you have any idea?
Plenty of meat available for all.Curious how all the animals are designed as

Bloody VegansPlenty of meat available for all.
Genesis 1:29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
Isaiah 11:7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.Bloody Vegans

And then one morning the lion woke up and thought 'Straw? No way. I feel like some meat. Morning Bambi!'Isaiah 11:7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
... you embraced evolution.I was taught this in Sunday School. When I was a child, I talked like a child. I thought like a child. I reasoned like a child. When I became a man...
Some people grow up... you embraced evolution.
... despite Paul being wrongDespite Paul warning that doing so can lead to atheism.

I'll bet one of the first things that buffaloed you was the serpent talking to Eve, wasn't it?It was either that or lions eating straw. Even as a child I knew that was nonsense. So I learned that the bible was not meant to be taken literally. I think I was about...ten years old?
I do not think people understanding the Bible is a case of them being "buffaloed". This looks like projection.I'll bet one of the first things that buffaloed you was the serpent talking to Eve, wasn't it?

You have that backwards.... you embraced evolution.

None of my business, but did you go to a strong Bible-believing church when you were in Sunday school? No. It was page 1, verse 1. The six days of creation. And then he rested on the seventh? Didn't get that. Even at ten years old I was thinking 'am I meant to be taking this seriously?'
I didn't know how it actually happened. But I knew lions didn't eat grass...
Did you see the word I supplanted with "atheists"?You have that backwards.
Romans 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became [creationists].
This is more accurate and more closely follows your version of Occam's Razor.
In my case, I never went to Sunday school .. that day was reserved for mucking around (and inventing cool stuff).None of my business, but did you go to a strong Bible-believing church when you were in Sunday school?

And another question, which is even less of my business (but would tell me a lot) is:
Were you a bus kid or a church kid?
Okay, thanks for answering.Church of England aka Anglicanism. We were taught these stories as a matter of course. And your 'foundations of sand' is applicable here. I thought that if this story or that story is obviously nonsense then...where does it end?
By the time I got to confirmation classes around 14 years old the whole edifice had crumbled.
How did you get to church? by bus? or with the family?Bradskii said:And, sorry, but I don't know what bus kid v church kid means.
So out of the same curiosity, what was your story on that front? Did a strong Bible-believing church feature?Okay, thanks for answering.
