If I died for that ... refusing to recant ... would you change your mind?

(Please answer this.)

Nope, since this is nowhere NEAR the same level as the level that the Christian martyrs are on.
YOU can show evidence for your claim, they only had their faith.

Fair enough.

I'll take your accusation with a modicum of sodium then.

Do you have evidence to back up your claim that "academia used to teach that an embryo went through three stages in the womb: first negroid, then mongoloid, then caucasoid"?

I couldn't find anything either, but I wouldn't be surprised if there had been somebody making that claim once upon a time. Quite a bit of that kind of thing went on in the 19th century as white n. European Evangelicals tried to twist new sciences to support their racial biases. The progression of negroid, mongoloid, caucasoid can be found readily enough, nothing so far about fetal development.

No.

So I thought I'd ask around.

You know ... investigate before I communicate.

Have you ever heard that before?

Do you think I should start a thread on it?

I remember seeing something sort of similar when I was looking up anti-Irish sentiment in the historical US, which described the Irish as being similar to Africans, in a very unflattering way.

I've certainly never heard of it. But instead of starting a new thread on it, how about you just show us evidence for your claim or just outright admit that you have none and that you made it up on the spot.

I somehow doubt that European Evangelicals would pluto "child in the womb" to "embryo;" but considering the Antichrist is going to come from that direction, I guess anything is possible.

I noticed you plutoed it further to "fetal development."

You also plutoed "academia" to "white n. European Evangelicals" ... but par for the course, I guess.

Number One, Warden, I already said I didn't have any evidence.

And Number Two, of the Storm, I said I had a source ... so no, I did not make it up.

Start that storm, so you can play warden.

First off: stop reading too much in to my tag name. It's taken from the name of a fictional set of fighters in a sci-fi universe I'm a fan of. Nothing more.

Secondly: why don't you present that source then? Give us the evidence for your claim, like you have been asked to do several times already. Please?

I beg your pardon. I forgot for a moment that all those terms were coined by evolutionists to justify abortion, which they also invented.

You also plutoed "academia" to "white n. European Evangelicals" ... but par for the course, I guess.
It wasn't "academia" who were trying to justify colonialism and the slave trade.

Thanks for the explanation. We obviously are miles apart when it comes to goals. I don't expect atheists to believe or understand a lot of things, especially when it comes to God and things of a spiritual nature (1 Corinthians 2:14). I keep in mind that more than just atheists are reading such threads as these.
There aren't many non-Christian theists on here, so all you'd be doing is wasting your time preaching to the choir if you don't care to debate with atheists.

I suspect he lumps all non-YEC theists in with the atheists anyway.

Unless your source is a Nazi, madman, etc., I can't imagine why you wouldn't want to share it.
What does it matter what my source is?

It's either true or false.

And I'm just asking ... for crying out loud.
