If what you meant is biblical creationism, then yes, it has been tossed and good riddance.
Hey, Anglican, would it bother you if theistic evolution was taught in history or science class?

Maybe let your pastor teach that segment of the class?

Not in science class. Theistic evolution does not belong there any more than biblical creationism. I never found it much of a problem. My kids believed in God before they went to school and still believed after they got out. They understood that science does not address the question of whether God exists, so their faith was not disturbed by it.

It just doesn't come up in science class but even there it is not explicitly denied.
Speaking of science, Anglican, I've been wondering this lately.

Since you take Holy Communion to stay saved, answer me this:

Did you ever think to slip a wafer into your pocket and send it to AncestryDNA™ for analysis?

Or might that result in a faith crisis?

No, you claimed "creation is being tossed" and I just wanted to make sure what you meant by "creation."

Dodge, I meant what I always mean when I say something...as in, what I said.

You did just as I claimed, but if that's the way you need to play this, by twisting things and when caught, denying the obvious, I suppose you as a teacher will know, that says a lot for you having any kind of real defense here.

I didn't read the rest of your post for obvious reasons....waste of time.

Sorry ... I don't understand your answer.

Would it get your dander up or not?

-_- you know, from my perspective, that sentence might as well be "what a waste to win a debate and not win nothing". The concept of "winning souls" doesn't make sense to an atheist, because even atheists that do believe in an afterlife don't view souls as "winnable".

I'm on here to improve my patience by challenging it with debates, and given the fact that my patience has improved a bit, I do view this as a worthwhile use of my time. Whether or not people change their minds is irrelevant to that goal.
Thanks for the explanation. We obviously are miles apart when it comes to goals. I don't expect atheists to believe or understand a lot of things, especially when it comes to God and things of a spiritual nature (1 Corinthians 2:14). I keep in mind that more than just atheists are reading such threads as these.

Since I don't take Holy Communion to "stay saved" I don't think I'll answer your question.

Wouldn't that provide physical evidence of God's existence?

I dunno.

It seems to me if you took one of those wheat DNA wafers and sent it in, and it came back as ape DNA, I'm sure some scientist somewhere would think something's wong in Hong Kong.

Why would it have ape DNA in it?

Not to worry, I don’t expect Christians to understand many things as well, including science and how truth is determined.
