I was thinking more along the lines of Ephesians 2:19-20.

Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God's people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.

So Christ is the cornerstone; but the apostles and prophets are the foundation. All of these, Christ, apostles, and prophets are men. If we take away God's ability to work through humans we negate much of salvation history and throw the incarnation into serious peril.

What is the foundation that Jesus Christ laid? It is not the Bible and it is not you or I.

Jesus Christ is the foundation, read the quote. It is not Peter no matter how many bible verse one uses to try to prove that Peter was the rock that Jesus built the church on. When Jesus stated in Matthew:16:18: "And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." First of all the song "rock of ages" is not about Peter. Peter himself said that Jesus is the rock in 1 Peter 2:8. Furthermore the gates of hell did prevail against Peter twice after Jesus told him about the church.

Everything, everything,
everything is to be TESTED.... NOTHING was accepted unless it was as YHWH'S WORD SAYS - all according to YHWH'S WORD ,
EVEN IF an apostle or angel delivered it ! IT WAS TESTED.

The men who failed, failed. The men who brought messages from demons, failed.
But if anyone DID NOT TEST THE MESSAGE by YHWH'S WORD, then they accepted what YHWH'S WORD did not accept,
then they too failed and were deceived and went on deceived in deception WILLFULLY against and CONTRARY to YHWH'S PURPOSE and YHWH'S WORD.
A LOT OF HISTORY BECAME death dealing wrong, in peril, multitudes of men's souls as fodder,
because of failure to test everything by YHWH'S WORD as HE SAYS.
