So, now we see that Peter was only preaching the Gospel to Isreal. Oops.

Of course Peter was the first pope of Christ’s Church on earth that he established.

Nope..... JAMES was the first Bishop of The Church.

The first Church was Jerusalem... Peter was NEVER Bishop there.

Here we have a verse written by good ole Paul to Rome. He is telling them that HE is the minister to the Gentiles.

Of course. Why should I believe anything else. The bible says Paul was the minister to the Gentiles, and that is just plain the way it was.

Note that Paul calls Peter what? Cephas. He knew Peter was the foundational Rock of the Church.

He said he stood up to, Cephas, the head of the Church in other words. Why? Because Peter was not practicing what he was preaching. Paul never said what he was preaching was wrong, just that he was not practicing what he was preaching.

This verse actually proves further that Peter was the head of the Church, it does not disprove it.

Also go to the verse in Galatians that says Paul’s authenticity as an apostles of Christ was verified by Peter and James.

No one has self-appointed authority to preach and teach. Jesus assigned authority to his Church.

All teaching especially bible interpretations is gauged against what the Church teaches. This is how we are to “test the sprits” as Paul says, to know if we are being lead by the Holy Spirit or our own human intellect, human spirit or worse the evil spirits.
