If you have a question, ask it. I'm not into reading the rants of others.I want a response to main chunk of my rant. Please read it throughly and respond to some of my main points in there, I'm very interested to see what is said about this. No one seems to have addressed some of the other main issues I brought up in there.
No more than not being a stamp collector requires there to be stamps for you not to collect. The only reason there a term for atheist odds because theist exist. If there were no theists, everyone would be atheist and we wouldn't have a name for it.Doesn't Atheism require a God for you not to believe in? There have been studies done that show humans are wired or biologically predisposed to believe in something. Whether one believes in God or not the brain does its best to understand the world and construct beliefs to understand it, and from an epistemological perspective there is no fundamental difference.

I deny Jesus as a savior of mankind, but I do think historically speaking, he was a real person. I find it extremely unlikely there is a God of any kind, even more unlikely a god that actually "loves" his creation and for some reason cares so much if people love him back. And to make it clear too, I don't believe in the devil either. I'm an honest and caring person, I've never done an "evil" thing my entire life. With that all said, would I go to hell?

First you have to decide what evil is. Who decides what is evil? Who decides what is good? If you claim to be a good person who has never done evil, by what measure do you make this assessment? It's not necessarily a rant, it's more of a short essay on my thoughts about all this. I'd just like a general response to the points I brought up. For the sake of discussion. Please.

If you don't believe in God, Jesus or the Bible, it's a little awkward for those of us that do to tell you you're going to hell. Because we don't have a common belief system. All we as believers can really do is tell you what the Bible says about it. Which if you don't believe the Bible, really means nothing to you.
I would--if only for academic purposes--encourage you to read the Bible for yourself and specifically what Jesus said about it. Because he spoke quite frequently about both heaven and hell. Even if you don't believe, you'll at least have an intellectual understanding about the position Jesus/The Bible takes on it.
If you'd like a basic explanation on what Evangelical Followers of Jesus believe, I've authored an e-book written in a conversational style that you can download on Amazon.com. ($2.99) It's called Christianity for the Average Joe. I wish you the best.

There are no requirements. God does not chose anyone for saving based on a system of merit. Then what are the requirements to be saved? Or do you not know?
So one day you woke up and just stop believing in what you had learned?Yes, I suppose the process leading up to it is somewhat systematic, insofar as it consists of a pattern of questions. But don't confuse the process with the outcome. Atheism is not a process.
You would be mistaken. Those who believe like I do, should not and do not have a place to judge others. Our only responsibility is to present the idea of God, not convince you or convict you. It's God's responsibility to change your heart.I could care less what others believe.
What is interesting though, is how a person justifies their belief and how it impacts how they judge others. That, is where it gets entertaining.
