If i had a dollar... I'd put it in the bank.

If I had a dollar,I would put it in my wallet.
You can't buy much with a dollar.
Therefore,the dollar would probably hang out in the wallet untill there were several more dollars around to join it.
Then I would but something.Hmmm....most likely a soy latte or other random coffee drink.

Or chocolate

...for every person who asked me if I was "going home for Christmas"
...for every meal that turns into a quiz-the-vegetarian session
...for every cat hair on my velvet chairs
...for every blessing I have in the CF bank
...for every hour I've ever spent studying
...for every way I can't live up to someone's expectations
...for every Sonic tater tot I eat
...for every committee meeting I attend
Then I would be rich beyond my wildest dreams.

I don't know if I should ask, but what is a sonic tater tot?

Wow...I am dumb struck, what can I say. I guess I am sorry that I get bored so easily. Also I would like to point out that this is the first time that I have started a thread "complaining" about another. (As I said in the OP I posted because I am bored).

um ok, but just as there are threads that topics repeat themselves over and over, there are threads that complain about threads that repeat themselves over and over, or if not threads someone posts on the said thread about how there are amillion threads about the said topic. I just think it's all sort of redundant. I'm sorry if you were offended, my humour sometimes seems sarcastic and snarky and that's a big flaw of mine and it comes out often when i'm sick, sorry. But i really would have about 80 dollars for the reason i mentioned. and now i would have like 81 dollars.

"Sonic" is a chain of drive-in food places that are all over the place in my area. I'm addicted to their tater tots and their diet cherry limeades. It's pretty much the only fast food I ever eat, so I treat myself every now and then.

Your right. Humour is a very hard thing to express and understand, in the written form. I don't think that it is a flaw of yours, it happens a lot.

I don't know whether I should explain myself in regards to the pouint that you made about people "complaining" about repeat threads. You see in the other forum that I fequent if you raise a topic that has been discussed before you will be pointed to the othere thread, and all posting will be done in that original thread. Both systems have there merrits.

Well its a catch 22. If someone repeats something that has been posted before, they are chastised for it. Sometimes told to "use the search feature". Then when someone searches for a topic, finds an old one, posts to it bringing it up to the top, they are chastised for bringing up such an old thread. It boils down to "you can please some of the people all the time, and all the people some of the time, but you can't please all the people all the time".

I figure that we should just be glad that people are here, enjoying the board and keeping it acive, even if we do see repeat topics.

It might very well have been that movie that kick-started my tot addiction. (Tots have more crunch than fries, which never really appealed to me much.)

I was going to Sonic with a friend of mine and we noticed that my new pair of pants had a pocket in the side like N.D.'s (although not quite so 80s in style). We now call pockets in the legs of pants "tot pockets." I didn't put my tots in there, though.
