Can you elaborate on what you mean by 'mystical' and also why Presbyterians reject the bodily presence (as taught by Lutherans)?
Honestly it is probably out of the scope of this thread, but there is a pretty good (and long) thread about it here:
The real presence of Christ in the sacrament of communion.
I would also take a quote from THIS article (also in that thread):

Not all ELCA churches (or Lutheran churches in general) practice Paedocommunion.
That should be, 'precede'. I apologize. I misspoke. The LCMS (the synod I am affiliated with), does not practice infant communion. I wish it did. Some of our Pastors have fought for it, but to no avail.
I can see the logic behind offering the Eucharist to all baptized believers insomuch as baptism and reception of the Eucharist shouldn't be separated.

Children ought to be baptized because of original (or ancestral sin). But they are not guilty of personal sin, adults are, and willfully so. So there is a difference between infant and adult baptism. The latter has (in apostolic tradition) required a renunciation of actual sin. Error or heresy is actual sin.

The ELCA church I was a member of did practice it, as did another in my city; but I am really not sure if it is common or not. Honestly, the ELCA is a rather aged denomination, I am not sure that it is a big issue in many parishes.

I agree.
I also agree.

Though adult baptism is fairly uncommon in the ELCA. Most adults converts to the ELCA come from other Christian traditions. And since repentance is meant to be a life long endeavor anyway, I don't see why instruction needs to happen before becoming part of the community.

This is a decent point. I mean at what point does repentance give way to the Christian state. Jesus is the deciding factor and all those who are baptized have him.
