If creationism is true, then why is it useless?

Why do you make such ludicrous statements that are demonstrably false?
By all means demonstrate that they are false. If you could that would be wonderful because you would be correcting my mistakes and improving my work. Even my son only has a 3.844 GPA. I do not claim perfection for me. I claim perfection for God and the written Word of God the Bible. What was your GPA and how perfect are you?

That's not how it works.
That is how it works. Either prove the Bible is true or prove the Bible is in error. One or the other. There are wedding and there are funerals. That is all you get. God does not give you any more then that. On the day of judgement people are going to show up with glass alibis that are going to shatter before the Throne. I am not accountable for what you do and the choices that you make. "wisdom is vindicated by her actions."

Matthew 11:18 "'We played the pipe for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not mourn.'

Romans 14 "11 It is written: “As surely as I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow before Me; every tongue will confess to God.” 12 So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God."

This is now how the burden of proof works. The person making the positive claim is the one who must prove it, because the only way to prove a negative is to use a contradicting positive (thus... proving a competing claim.).

What was your GPA and how perfect are you?
This is such a relevant addition to the conversation.

Of course it is. YOU are claiming I am not perfect and that my posts are in error and yet you can not show any error. You need to substantiate your claims

That is how it works. Either prove the Bible is true or prove the Bible is in error. One or the other.

But I'm not the one claiming it's historically accurate. You are. Therefore it's your job to corroborate that with evidence.

Human beings are natural storytellers. We make up stuff all the time. Just look at the NY best seller's list.

Given the obvious mythological elements of Noah's Flood story, it's clearly not a literal event as written in the Bible. We don't have evidence of a world wide flood wiping out all life on Earth, we don't have evidence that all lifeforms were a result of tiny founder populations post-Flood, and so on. So we know it's not a literal historical event as written.

Now if you want to claim that the event still occurred in some other context and that there was a historical man named Noah who built an Ark with 2 of every animal to ride out a flood of some kind, then by all means present some evidence to support it.

But don't fall back on the wishy-washy position of claiming I need to disprove such a claim. It's not my claim to disprove.

I wasn't the person you asked their GPA to. :p

Still, you're the one who needs to prove their claim.

Of course there was a flood as described in the Bible. No one has any reason to question that.
Where is the geological and archaeological evidence?

We can tell a giant meteor hit the Earth to cause the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event 65,000,000 years ago, but you don't think we can detect a flood via geology that covered the whole world within the eras of human history?

I actually had Shem in mind.

No Noah = no Shem = no Jews.

Thus the Jews are evidence that Noah existed.
In about the same way as the British are proof that King Arthur existed.

The British would be evidence of Japheth, who was also one of Noah's sons.

No Noah = no Japheth = no British.

Yes Aaron was descended from Noah through Shem. The DNA they are working on right now goes back to Aaron the brother of Moses. Because this is the Levi branch of the family and they are more strict about keeping their DNA pure from all contamination. The DNA evidence confirms that the genealogies in the Bible are accurate and true. The Priest line is held to a higher standard.

There are not that many generations between Adam, Noah and Abraham. Adam would have still been alive when Noah's father was born.

The British was a very small family, but this was the clan that the Romans protected and supported. When the Roman garrisons were gone the Anglos, Saxtons & Normans were quick to move in.

The Nano Diamond Meteor pertains more to the beginning of the era we are in around 12,900 years ago. I am not saying this is the cause of anything but a marker. I am sure that your 65 million year meteor is very important also as the marker of a new age or era. I believe that Neil Degrasse Apophis is going to be very significant also.

I like the fact that Shem lived right up to the time of Jacob; providing eye-witness testimony of the Flood, and being able to set the record straight should some other country try to plagiarize the story.

I can name that tune in one note (word) BOTANY. Only it would take me a whole book to show you how the study of Botany proves that the Bible is 100% accurate and true. Perhaps you do not realize that the Bible talks about many many different plants. Esp plants that people use for food.

Let me give you more key words so you can do a Google search if your interested. We are talking about ancient plants in the Middle east. The experts on this are professors (Phds) that work at the university in Jerusalem. They have written books about ancient plants in the Middle east. Most of their material we find in peer reviewed journals articles.

Another word would be archaeology. For example around 20,000 years ago they found a site where they had mill stones and they were grinding the ancient grains that they were eating at that time. This could be a very good place for our story to begin.

Men of science have put a huge amount of work and research trying to find out how farming spread from the Middle East to Europe. Often these people are not Christians. They could be evolutionists that are wanting to know how wild ancient grains evolved into domesticated grains. A lot of research has gone into the neolithic revolution. All of this confirms that the Bible is 100% accurate and true.

"The Neolithic Revolution, Neolithic Demographic Transition, or Agricultural Revolution, was the wide-scale transition of many human cultures from a lifestyle of hunting and gathering to one of agriculture and settlement, making possible an increasingly larger population." wiki

If you do not want to accept that the Scientific evidence compiled in the last 100 years confirms that the Bible is accurate and true then you have to show where the evidence shows us that the Bible is NOT 100% accurate and true. God watches over His word to perform what He says: "I watch over my word to perform it." The Bible has all the authority and all the accuracy of the God that created this universe.

So I have give you: "Botnay", "Archecture" & "Neolithic Revolution". This is three areas of study that would take three different books to explain. How does that apply to Noah? NOT only were all of those plants on Noah's Ark, he took all to the farm animals with him also. All of the domesticated plants and animals goes back to Noah. This includes grapes that we get wine from. This includes barley and hops that we get beer from when the grains ferment. Grains do not ferment if they are in a basket they have to be in pottery to ferment.

This is the evidence and proof I have that Noah was a real person and the ARK was a real boat. The evidence is on your breakfast table in the grains that Noah saved for us when the earth was flooded back in Noah's day.
lol
