I believe that, regardless of ones eschatological views, we can and should all be friendly and actually loving to each other. I also believe that no one, even the "best" theologeans have all the answers.
However, the fact that any of us are on this forum should be an indcation that we are all SEEKING the answers. So we all have a love for scripture and a desire to understand it's mysteries (with the exception of a few that have an agenda, usually anti-Christian, to push.) That gives is something very important in common.
I will often debate issues rigorously with others here and on other sites, explaining something with all the understanding I can. This may appear to be argumentative, but in actuality, it is a means of laying all the cards that I know of on the table in order to either affirm or trump what I understand. The process has enabled me to see things the way other see them, and, at times, change my understanding, which has happened more than once.
We should embrace each other in agape love and not be too hard skinned to listen to what others think.
My current pastor has a diametrically opposite view of escahology as I do. We have met and discussed these differences at length. The last time, although we were unable to come to agreement, he told me that he was encouraged by the fact that I am only about the third person he has encounterd in almost 30 years who was willing to even ask these questions and to dealve as deep into scriptures as I have. And, he has been the pastor of a large church during that time.
We may not change each other's mind, but we love each other enough to be sounding boards.
