Because that's the topic of this particular thread. It starts with Scripture not personal opinion.

Here you go again, distracting issue instead of finding Scripture on how you believe New Covenant was confirmed. You remain refuted.

Come on, find a verse to support your position exactly what you claim what it says.

I could point to many verses - every single passage that records the words of Jesus are especially relevant.

Well, go ahead, quote them. Prove it.

I bet that the verses you may quote won't even prove exactly how you think the New Covenant itself was confirmed. Take your time.

That's branching off into another topic. I will start a new thread tomorrow with this topic.

Mat 26:28 For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Indeed. Christ's blood was what confirmed the new covenant which only took place at the Cross which he must die in order that the new covenant becomes a force just as Hebrews declared:

Hebrews 9:11-17 KJV
[11] But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
[12] Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
[13] For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
[14] How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
[15] And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
[16] For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
[17] For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

A New Covenant did not become a force while Jesus was alive. Only when Christ dies, with his blood, it did confirm a new covenant. When did it happen? At the Cross as I explained in my previous post.

To very active posters at this forum,

What I want to see from you, is not just your verbiage of your eschatology view. I want to see a timeline chart of the elements of your eschatology position.

What you should do is make a timeline chart of all your iterations, fitting everything you have been writing about and claiming, and putting it into a non-fragmented form of a timeline chart. To show how any of it makes sense.

Start a timeline chart.... and work on it, until the contradictions are ironed out. it will probably be an ongoing work in progress.

Here is mine....which most of you have seen over and over. You make yours - prove your views, interpretations, and claims, fit together to form the big picture.

There's no point in posting charts based on conjecture and things that are not written in the Bible, such as in your chart. That way people will just get it all wrong, like you do in your chart.

Otherwise, Satan would not have orchestrated Jesus's death
Wait a minute! I missed this yesterday.

You believe Satan orchestrated Jesus's death?

We may need a couple new threads.

Satan entered Judas to betray Jesus so that Jesus would be arrested in the darkness of night while everyone was sleeping.

The pharisees were doing what their father inspired them to do.

1Corintians 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

When Jesus arose from the grave - it meant curtains for Satan and his angels future existence - something they were not expecting. And eternal life for them who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ's death and resurrection.

They were expecting the messiah cutoff and that would be the end of him.

I agree that that's what was expected, that Jesus's death would be the end of Him..

But you don't believe the Cross was God's plan all along?

Confirming a covenant and a covenant becoming a force are two separate things.

I agree that His death caused the old to be obsolete and the new active.....but Jesus and His followers were confirming these Truths with Daniel's people for 7 years....as Daniel's prophecy has predicted.

That's the plot. We don't find plots spelled out for us in novels....neither do we find one specific passage that spells out the plot of the Bible. Instead....it's a thread that's woven into all Scripture.

Confirming a covenant and a covenant becoming a force are two separate things.

Boy, how wrong you are! You have no common sense. In order for a covenant to be confirmed, one has to die so that the covenant becomes a force with His Blood. And that does not even last 7 years, right? :)

I agree that His death caused the old to be obsolete and the new active.....but Jesus and His followers were confirming these Truths with Daniel's people for 7 years....as Daniel's prophecy has predicted.

According to your 7 years theory which is, of course, incorrect.

That's the plot. We don't find plots spelled out for us in novels....neither do we find one specific passage that spells out the plot of the Bible. Instead....it's a thread that's woven into all Scripture.

If you think so. It will be woven into confusion to fit your private interpretation? In other words, forcing Scripture to say what you wanted it to say just like your "confirming Truth for 7 years."

I just updated my chart...

Another update with more errors?

Your chart is really full of chaos!

You believe that Daniel's 70th week lasts 2,250 days, instead of 1,335 days. And you need to work on your math. You added 45 days after 1,335 days which supposed to be 1,380 days but you made it ended in 2,250th day. Besides that, I saw many more errors all over on your inspired pre-tribulation chart.

By the way, the confirmation of the covenant won't take place with the nation Israel in the future. It already confirmed by Christ, your Messiah the Prince, at the Cross for the New Testament Congregation. So you need to start from there and get that nation Israel off your mind! You got wrong Israel to begin with. You believe that a little horn is a man who will be physically killed and then resurrected to become the king of Israel with his statue set up upon the temple mount. Sigh...

Another interesting visual is a chiasm.

Quoting from link: A chiasm is a literary structure long recognized as a way to emphasize ideas or concepts by placing them into a symmetric pattern, as they are recorded in a given literary work. Ancient Hebrew literature employs chiastic structures often. Where they appear in the Bible, some have referred to them as the “fingerprints of God.”

The chiastic structure of Daniel 9:25-27 is very interesting, as it makes clear that the Messiah is the “he” who confirms the covenant. William H. Shea, a historicist, notes the following chiasm in Frank Holbrook’s work*, “The Seventy Weeks, Leviticus, and the Nature of Prophecy“:

PP8: Daniel’s 70-Week Prophecy (Part 1)

Daniel 9:24 is clear that the seventy weeks are all about Jesus Christ and His People, Israel. More specifically, the whole congregation of Israel makes up of BOTH the Old Testament, and New Testament Elect. Jews first, then the Gentiles.

It is NOT about some evil prince against nation Israel.

Messiah the Prince... = Jesus Christ
Messiah be cut off... = Jesus Christ
People of the above Prince... = Jews, the OT congregation of Israel, that fell along with Prince's death for rejecting their Messiah.
"He" of Verse 27 (per context) = Jesus Christ who has confirmed a covenant with New Testament Congregation of Israel that Christ rebuilt in three days after his death, that lasts until the Consummation.

Simple!

Take another look at the chart. 1290 days plus the 45 days is 1335 days.

The 70th week is 2520 days long. The great tribulation lasts the final 1335 days of that 2520 days.

By the way, the confirmation of the covenant won't take place with the nation Israel in the future. It already confirmed by Christ, your Messiah the Prince, at the Cross for the New Testament Congregation.
The new covenant in Christ is not found in Daniel 9. Because the resurrection of the messiah is not prophesied in Daniel 9, only his being cutoff.
