I want to date and marry, but I'm an "effeminate" Christian man. What do I do?

Anyways, I think it's something to consider. That if you want to remain how you are, you would probably be better off with a more regular woman. One you would not be that imbalanced with. It's like how celebrities mostly date celebrities, or at least someone rich, or model appearance type, or highly confident.

True and also because a celebrity is probably going to see other celebrities a lot more often than other groups of people due to the nature of their work and the activities and events they get invited to and of course common interests.

The time you spend together and common interests can make or break a relationship.

And of all people, "fitness junkies" can be very challenging to spend more time with if you're not a fitness junkie your self. In the weekends, they may be hiking in the mountains all day with other fitness junkies which can be dangerous to someone who is not physically fit. With weekday work, that means she's spending more time with other people than the OP.

Fitness junkies also doing it for health reasons so when they get old, they can remain physically active, independent, maintaining good quality of life, not sitting all day, requiring a wheelchair or a nurse or living in a retirement home.

For this very reason and awareness, fitness junkies may not want marrying someone they'll be taking care of in old age because he or she neglected their health and fitness in their younger years. It will certainly affect the quality of life in old age they worked so hard by getting fit and healthy when younger.

More people are also getting into physical fitness due to the fact, more people are choosing not to have children anymore. If no one is going to take care of them in their old age, they'll have to do it themselves.

Well said. It's okay to not do everything together but you want to do a good amount of things together. If you aren't an outdoorsy type, someone who likes to exercise a lot, it may not work out with a fitness junkie. If you prefer to be a homebody than its better to find another homebody.

I could add that a fitness junkie may not only expect a certain level of fitness from you, but future kids if you have them. My friend's dad was really into fitness. My friend's mom, the wife, wasn't as into fitness later so it became an issue in their relationship. He wanted the sons to be fit as well. But if my friend hadn't changed his habits, he might not have become a confident EMT with a great life.

This is true. When you get onboard the health and fitness lifestyle, you are likely to do lots of research in the subject.

The knowledge you acquire is both enlightening and worrisome if you have loved ones not living healthy. By instinct, you'd want your loved ones start living right too.

The good news is that it's not usually too late to change one's way of living. Even at senior years, still possible to turn one's life around. It's going to be harder but not impossible.
