sorry took almost a month break from here. Had time with the family for Thanksgiving and hopefully for Christmas too. Lord willing I don't have to work.

Thanksgiving was great. I hope Christmas will be too, but if there's snow I have to work No, still things to do for Christmas, but plowing snow is keeping me busy.

What do you do when it isn't snowing if you job is to drive snow plows?

Hi scuba mikey, ....anything with the highway that needs maintenance. Pot holes, tarring, drains, maintenance of trucks, arrow board, flagging.....many things.

Sorry to sound sexist, but do you find that in your job, women are a minority? Is it quite physical?

not really sexist, but no there's not many women. I've had my share of challanges, not physically (even tho there are physical time) just the limitations people set in their mind by the outside appearence.

What got you into the field of work that you're in?

very very long story, but looking for something less stressful, close to 9-5 and something I don't have take home when I go home. Was supposed to be a temporary thing, but 5 years later I'm still here.....

What would your ideal career be?

anything in the education field. Would love to retire out of a University, not as a professeur, but on staff.

haha, no plowing. Today wasn't plowing but de-icing. All the roads became glass ice and in some places I did have to get my shovel out and scoop salt out under my tires for traction....a very crazy day. A coyote tried crossing a highway and slide across on its belly.

nope no work on Christmas. I was glad, unfortunately though I was sick. I've been fighting a type of cold for a month and now am on antibiotics. I could barely speak yesterday and today too....otherwise I feel the LOrd has been blessing me
