I really hate the book of Revelation

The Bible is of man, it is ONE record of man's attempt to understand God.

That's not what the Bible says about itself. Jesus said of Moses' writings:

Matthew 15:4 (NASB)
4 "For God said, 'HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER,' and, 'HE WHO SPEAKS EVIL OF FATHER OR MOTHER IS TO BE PUT TO DEATH.'

Knowing truth or living truth does not put one at the top, only God can put one a top. So if one finds themselves at the top it was not of there own doing and we should always have a mind set as to being at the bottom, yet always striving for absolute truth.

The Q'uran declares itself to be the word of God. The Bible declares itself to be the word of God. The Veda declares itself to be the word of God. The Book of Tiles declares itself to be the word of God. All fan fiction and morality plays to help the seeker find the true word of God in his or her memory of home.

That's why I don't see any need to hate any of the books. I have read them all, but the ones I read on a regular basis are selective, because I know myself well enough to know that which is singing to my soul, and that which I am not mature enough for yet.

I would like to say this about the original post. The mark of the beast does exist and is very real. they are in production right now to be introduced in the near future. if you don't believe it, look it up! A microchip involving radio frequency inserted into the hand, it's all mentioned in the bible too.

I looked all through the book of revelation. I could not find one reference to electronics of any kind.

Not literally mentioning microchips, but a mark in either the hand or forehead which if you do not accept you will not be able to buy or sell. You will have seen this if you've gone through revelation surely?

Yes I know this verse. It could also refer to being branded or tattooed reflecting the fear of rumors about Emperor Domitians tyrannical rule requiring proof of a "loyalty oath". Branding or tattooing me, or even coercing me to have a microchip is not going to change whom my heart belongs to. It is my opinion that this reflects a very poor understanfing of whom Jesus was or who Christ is, reflecting the fringe pagan beliefs of the asia minor apocalyptic sect that produced this writing.

Jesus had stated, according to John, that "I judge no man". It is doubtful He changed His mind.

No. What I see as a sign is, the fear of technology run amok. "Chips in the hand", the "terminator" movies, tells me that technology has surpassed the ability of the average education to understand it.

How is being forced to recieve a "mark", "chip", "brand" or "tatoo" going to affect your heart personally? These are all outward things. Jesus already gave us that discussion with the dietary laws.
