I think green tea tastes cleaner.

Yep! That is the reason why I changed from Lipton to either Susan Baker or the numerous green tea bags inside of the humongous and affordable box of Kirkland green tea:

I find a lot of them leave an aftertaste.

Correct! That is why I hardly drank any of that since the taste is so darn... you know... less favorable compared to either British, Japanese or Chinese teas. Oh yeah! Nihao ma!

I've never seen that here.

Well, you might wanna order online if you can. But if a nearby offline store sells it within 100-300 kms or 62.14-186.41 miles in range with either you go to their stor and/or C.O.D., then that would be awesome.

We have an Asian store here where I might find what you are talking about Azure.

Do they sell Japanese products? If so, check them for matcha powder.

That is what I do when I go to my nearby neighboring island called "Cebu" especially in Cebu City, Philippines where I was lucky enough to have located the famous Japanese store called "The New Machiya Mart" in the Banilad area near the Banilad Town Center somewhat situated near an overpass. That store is where I buy my Japanese favorite ingredients nearly for my daily meals since I happen to have a very strong liking to Japanese cuisine but not forget my Chinese heritage which is also strong. Now, back to that store, I bought matcha powder there and I understand that it is expensive because of the shipping it took during transit and the quality it has.

Caution: Be careful if you can't stand the herbal taste as it is somehow bitter. However, the health value is quite good and high.

Is green tea really the healthiest drink on the planet?

There is a difference between preferring a particular food, or national cuisine, and saying that that cuisine is bad.

I dont tend to be a huge fan of a lot of Chinese food. But I would not say it is all bad. I know it can be well cooked and I enjoy it from time to time.

If you would rather have a hotdog than a steak and kidney pie, I have no issue with that. But that does not mean that British food is all gross.

I'm not implying all British food is gross. British food in a pub, however and again, PASS!

Look, the British (and in fact I think specifically the Scottish) claim it. That is not uncontested - some say it did originate on the Indian sub-continent. But there are a ton of British curries, and other British-Indian dishes, and it is not at all out to lunch that it could be a British dish. Indians that have been living in the UK for generations are British, and the British culinary tradition includes Indian traditions.

Its no different than Donairs, which are part of the fast food tradition in Eastern Canada. Yes, they also come out of a Turkish tradition, but to say they are Turkish food would be inaccurate. Solomon Gundy is eastern Canadian, but from Germanic immigrants.

That's as valid as saying pizza is really American because it's become a huge staple in American cuisine (Especially in NYC) with all the varied toppings, just as nachos are just because we add in a different type of cheese.

I like all three, but I think Italian might be third of the three for me.

Then you are an exception to the rule. Most others have Italian as one of the top ethnic cuisines in the world.

British? I mean, really? There's a reason why you don't see so many English restaurants here in NYC, and NYC is a fierce battleground when it comes to the culinary world. Off the top of my head when thinking British food, there's a British pastry shop that also serves British teas and a few British pubs.

That's it, unless you start including a few restaurants under Ramsey's belt which also serve various ethnic dishes in his establishments: American, British, Indian, Italian, French, etc.

Scandinavian food is really big lately, and I find I am enjoying that too.

Now you're just yanking my chain.

Speaking about New York and pizza, I really love NY style pizza. They are thick and big and a single slice could be suffice for a lunch or a dinner. Just serve thy table with fruits and vegetables to neutralize the acidity and thus increasing the probability of easy elimination of the foods eaten.
