I think we are getting a new one by May but we are having temporary priests coming every week.

A catechumen is defined as “one receiving instruction in the basic doctrines of Christianity before admission to communicant membership in the Church.”
So I will be learning and growing on the faith before joining the Orthodox Church.

that depends on the person and what that person needs. I have known some as short as a few weeks to as long as a number of years. generally, like 99 times out of 100, it's about a year-ish. mine was about 9 months.

Thank you for your insight. I'm not conversant in your teachings but I've enjoyed what I've read thus far. There is an element of peace in this area that I appreciate.

By the way, Week 10’s challenge with the Vegemite was a piece of cake for Prodromos. He didn’t do as well with the secret handshake....
