I am not the one that needs convincing.
I am confident in what James says.
Prove your case with James that he is saying you can be saved with even a dead faith.
I am sorry, I just do not see that mentioned within his book.

....
That is what Paul says in the Bible, that you are preaching a false gospel.

James has nothing to do with that.

Justification is not salvation. Two different words. Two different things.

Justification means to be "declared righteous." If one is declared righteous, they are saved.

So you are not going to show me any verses in James to prove your case that we can be saved with a dead faith?

Also, you were saved by a God directed work.
Jesus died upon the cross to save you from your sins.
....
It is wrong to say 'you were saved by a God directed work'. Christ's death is part of His grace and His doing for the offering of salvation.

We are saved by faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross for the forgiveness of sin.

That is not what salvation is. Do you need a definition on salvation to help you?
He that has the Son has life and he that does not have the Son does not have life (1 John 5:12). "Life" is talking about salvation in this verse because "Life" is obviously talking about "spiritual life" and not "physical life" here. It would be idiotic to assume one is not saved and yet they also have the "spiritual life" of Jesus.

they do not mean the same thing. Justification is part of what Jesus does when we are saved, but it is not salvation.

And of course in Christ we have life.

But that is not the definition of salvation or what occurs during salvation. Can you please stay focused on what we were discussing.

You said that justification and salvation are the same.

So if God did not take action to go to the cross (Which is a God directed work), then how could we have been saved then?
Your not making any sense.

Here are more for you to consider:

Matt 7:21
Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

Romans 2
6God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”7To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.

Thinking you and your works are what saves you IS the wide road.

That's not what the bible says:

Romans 2
6God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”a7To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.

Christians are those who persist in doing good. We are the only ones who can. But, that's not what saved us.

Again, I believe God does the work in the believer when they surrender to Him. A person is a willing vessel for God. Sort of like how the the saints who God used to pen the Scriptures were willing vessels to communicate God's words.

That is a different question.

You said that justification and sanctification mean the same thing.

They do not.
Can you quote to me where I said Justification is the same as Sanctification?

I don't recall saying those words.

What is the will of the Father or the will of God that we have to do in order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven?

1 Thessalonians 4:3 says the will of God is our Sanctification or our holiness.

Hebrews 12:14 says without holiness no man shall see the Lord.
