And the fantasy about systemic R doesn't negate the inherent good of America either.
America being “good” is a fantasy. But your fingers are in your ears, so I’m afraid you will only keep believing in that fantasy. Take care.
I would be very interested if there was anything in any of those books that provides evidence that Minorities are not able to get ID because I believe that minorities are just as able and capable of getting ID cards any anyone else, apparently some people think that minorities are deficient in some respects, I have no idea why they feel that way but it has to be very insulting to minorities.Do you like to read? I’ve found some good books along the way that have helped me understand systemic racism.
I’ll be glad to share one with you if you are interested.
I wonder, what countries do you think are much better to live in? And why wont you move there?America being “good” is a fantasy. But your fingers are in your ears, so I’m afraid you will only keep believing in that fantasy. Take care.
Perhaps considering that many people are doing anything they can to enter and live in this country might be a fantasy but it is not and those who think that this country is not the best in the world might want to talk to the people who have lived in other countries and cant wait to live in this country instead. If may be fashionable for some teachers to disparage this nation and manipulate the minds of their students into hate but sooner or later those students learn enough about the rest of the world to see the liberals, or socialists, or Marxists or any combination of those have promoted a fantasy.America being “good” is a fantasy. But your fingers are in your ears, so I’m afraid you will only keep believing in that fantasy. Take care.
That doesn’t negate systemic racism and the racist history of the USA.
Where is the evidence of this systemic racism, where is it, what are the examples? Show me.That doesn’t negate systemic racism and the racist history of the USA.

Well, I do not think that Germans, Swiss, Austrians, Norwegians, Finnish, Swedish, Dutch, Brittish, Japanese, South Korean etc dream of coming to the USAThe U.S.A is one of the youngest nations but is also a nation of many nations in it. Why do people from all nations dream of coming to such a dreadful racist place?
Yes, but there are more poor white peopleAnd there are 193 million more white people than black people in the US.

So the alternative is to have people who can't prove who they are come in and vote? There's nothing racist about requiring identification to prove you are who you day you are.
In Missouri there are charities that help people with the fees involved in getting an ID when they can't afford it, and if your homeless and don't have a mailing address the state welfare offices will provide them one and give the individual in question the ID at the next appointment after it comes in.
And there are charities all over the country that help, for instance this one in Minneapolis:
Daily Outreach | The Basilica of Saint Mary
In the DC area they have free programs as well.
If someone is poor and can't afford an ID, all they have to do is sit down with a charity and tell them what help they need, and will be referred to the correct charity that can fulfil these needs, and Identification services are just another need that charities fulfill.
Also, for the healthy and in poverty, one trip to donate blood plasma will net enough extra cash to pay for these items. (A regular donor can make 240 a month about 10 years ago, with a first time donation being paid $60.00 dollars and a second donation $40.00 - regular donors make a little less) and yes, my knowledge of this does mean I used to sell my blood... when your broke it works.
In the United States those in poverty aren't without the help they need to get an ID. Poor people know where these things are, and how to get them, and if someone doesn't know all they have to do is ask another poor person...
The US does have a racist history, but much of it is misunderstood. That doesn’t negate systemic racism and the racist history of the USA.
See post 13.
There are people who are not able to attain identification, don’t have the transportation to get it, and also don’t have the ability/money/access to get the proper documentation to get it.Are you supporting the thought that not only can they not vote, but they cannot also:

Well, I do not think that Germans, Swiss, Austrians, Norwegians, Finnish, Swedish, Dutch, Brittish, Japanese, South Korean etc dream of coming to the USAIts mostly about the less developed countries, Mexico, Venezuela and similar.
Let us not be extreme - the USA is not something everybody wants in, but its not some worst and most racist country in the world.
In the standard of living, the USA are the 20th in the world:
https://www.usnews.com/news/best-countries/quality-of-life-rankings
Which is not bad, but far from the best. But because of English and wide spread Spanish, its very convenient for many people from poor countries to go to the USA instead of to, for example, Japan.
For the most black people its better to live in the USA than in Africa. And they know it, no exodus is happening. When somebody is talking a drama, but not leaving, I trust their actions, not their words.
Yeah, I also remember times when the USA were much more attractive to Europeans, just 15-20 years ago. Not so much today...I grew up in a time when it was the place to come and was pretty much referring to then (even though its a fairly young nation) but I do get it (now) and if there was another America I would have by now flee'd to itEven Venezuelans who fled socialism in their countries into the U.S are staring in horror as we slowly enter their living hell (which they left behind).
I hear you on Africa

Something is obviously changing.
