I Need Story Ideas!!!

I really love writing, but there's one problem: I can never think of ideas for stories! Do you have any suggestions ? I'm open to anything. Thanks so much! <>< Kenzie

I think I might try it... but it would make me sad! I am so terrible with sad stories. I just can't handle them. I almost cried just seeing a homeless man once... have you ever looked at their faces? You can tell when they're real.

maybe if your interested in sci-fi you could write a story about a family that lives in a space station and they are atacked my the Derele (or whoever), a very bad alien species, and they are losing oxygen, fast. And a very smart 12 year old (whatever age) has to figure out how to save herself, and her family.
I'm ok at making up stories, i just can't write them so they are very excited.
Or if you wanted something else like an 11 year old prince(Rawlin), who doesn't want to be on, keeps on running off and finds a cave that another (an orphan who's living with her uncle that likes to start protests against anything the king does) girl(Amanda) likes to go to. They become friends (Amanda doesn't know he is the prince) and then something happens(you decide what) and well..... i hope that one of those helps. When you write your story are you going to show us? I hope you will

How about a story of how a fictional character (loosely based on your testimony) comes to faith in Christ?

yeah, i agree with lambslove. write something you can relate to.

I would suggest making up a few characters. Make them really deep. Don’t stop at favorite color ect, Give them a background, write down the story of their best/worst experiences, the person who has the greatest effect on them and why, and make each one pretty different. and then have they interact, like they all meet randomly at McDonalds’s or something. Write just different things about them until they are so separate in your mind you know how each one will react in any given situation. then take your characters and make up an emergency, an earthquake, a murderer loose in their neighborhood, a lost dog, anything. and write what each character does, how they react to the situation, to each other, what they feel, everything. In my opinion the best stories are less about extraordinary plots and more about the characters stuck in those plots.
