  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I need some help.

Hi Yajyu,

Praise the Lord, cos the harvest is truly plenteous! But the labourers are few. I have a few suggestions

1) Have a base church who will sent you out and remember you in prayer.

2) Have a spiritual mentor like Paul is to Tim. Or Barnabas to Paul. Or Peter is to John Mark. We all need spiritual mentors.

Most importantly, you must be certain of this if it is indeed the calling of God cos then you will not turn back from here! (the local church leaders are usually the best person to seek advice and counsel, God will prompt them too. You have to trust the Lord to do it)

Yes, what Lambslove said is VERY IMPORTANT and practical!

So God bless you in this decision, may He give you His mind upon this matter, Amen
