I don't know why I do these things. I speak before I consider. I said that I told the HS to depart in the name of the Lord. I think He left. I said I sold my soul to the devil, I think for everything. I don't want everything I want salvation. I'm terrified.

Apollogize to the Holy Spirit and ask him to take you back... You don't think that he will...? And come back into your life, over and over if necessary, the real truth, is that he never left nor leaves, nor can ever leave, and you can't get away from his omnipresence, the enemy comes and goes though...

Are you sure your not confusing the H.S. with the Devil, or the other way around...

I had him try to convince me that he is or could be the H.S., but it didn't work, but it was very convincing, but God made me recall scriptures speak them, and make him go away...

You can't sell your soul or command the holy spirit to do anything. You just don't have that power or authority. A little obsessive thought here and there is something everyone gets from time to time. We think thousands of thoughts a day we are only aware of the ones we give attention and power to. You gave power to a negative thought like telling the Holy spirit to leave but you don't have that authority so it was just a thought nothing more nothing less. Try not to dwell on such thoughts that are impossible. As a wise man once said my greatest fears in life never happen. Your fear seems to be blasphemous thoughts but theres practically 0 chance of any of these things happening. Especially telling the holy spirit to leave. I would learn more about God and the bible and focus less on using commands you aren't capable of backing up. But look to the word to see what power you truly have.

But if the words you speak have no power to do what you say then they are just words and nothing more. We have all said terrible things, and will be judged accordingly. But why beat yourself up over past mistakes. Can you do anything right now to undo the past bad things you have said? Of course not. So why use that energy dwelling on the past, use that energy instead to transform your mind to be more christlike which is a process, that we all strive for but you won't get there if you are focusing on negative things you have said in the past. Bring every thought in captivity to christ. That said it will take time to get there, i've dealt with negative thinking like you are currently experiencing but through prayer and trusting God and letting go and surrendering was when I became free from obsessive thoughts. Let it all go.

Yes, you don't have the past, all you have is "now" the present, looking forward, and not backward and sowing and leaving behind a legacy from NOW ON, or "onward"...

You are repentant so don't worry about it. It's a greater insult to God to just not recognize you are forgiven.

What you are describing is called scrupulosity, it's worry about insignificant religious details. If it continues to be a problem you need to talk to a pastor or therapist/counsellor. It's usually down to undue self-absorbtion, an anxious temperment. It can also be due to poor pastoral care or bad theology. Trying to find ways to de-stress can be helpful.

God doesn't accept you based on your degree of repentance. God has promised forgiveness to those who trust in him regardless of their ability to know whether they have the repentance they should. Repentance is the result of faith, it is not the cause of our justification or acceptance by God.

If you are going to a church that doesn't have clear teaching, you will be confused, and this could indicate a problem with the teaching at your church.

Jesus Christ as your Savior? repent...confess...have faith...receive grace
...turn from being a servant of sin to a servant of righteousness

I thought I did, as a kid. I've tried to get saved multiple times since then but I don't know if I am.
