The department store here in town is closing, and it's the only local place where I can buy Clinique makeup. I'm worried because it's the only make up I'm not allergic to. Does anyone know of a drug store makeup that I could try? I've already tried Cover Girl and that wasn't very successful. I've bought some Physician's Formula and I'm going to try that tomorrow. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Probably your best bet. But the new Sephora store-within-a-store concepts tend to be smaller than regular Sephoras. I haven't personally visited one, so I don't know if they'll just be carrying Sephora's house brand or many brands, but a smaller selection.

JC Penney might have a Clinique counter tho?

Also, our Shopper's Drug Mart [Canadian chain, but maybe Walgreens or Super Targets might also do this?] have Boutique SDMs that carry dept. store brands like Benefit, Elizabeth Arden & Clarins. Maybe some larger drugstores carry Clinique or some other hypo-allergenic brands?

Good luck though!

As far as drugstore goes I would say try the Rimmel Lasting Finish. Very affordable and definitely stays on all day(with a primer of course :D )Only thing is be careful because every other shade can be a bit orangish so just avoid those shades. You can tell when you see them next to each other in the stores.

Also Revlon Colorstay is fantastic. That stuff REALLY stays! You have to scrub and scrub to get it off. So if you have long days or kids it is duh bomb!

And with all drugstore foundations really try using a damp sponge it helps it blend in soooo much better. :p

Hope this helped!

I would say don't put anything over your entire face, just bring out your eyes more with an eyeliner that best suits you and a popping lipstick and maybe some lip gloss if you like that. These are some the things that I do.

I also like to wear silver glitter nail polish and sometimes I would paint my nails (fingers & toes) half one color and half another, just for fun haha.

Those are just some things I use to do a lot. I don't really do that as much any more. But maybe you may want to try some of the things I just mentioned.

Have fun with it!

I wanted to give you an update. It's taken me quite a while but I finally found a brand I can wear - Physician's Formula. You can buy it at the drug store. It's even better for my skin than the Clinique I was wearing. So if you have problems, or you know someone who does, this is something that would be worth a try.
