I am not going to bore you with details about how evil this couple is and how they created a pristine public image. I have never met these sneaky evil types before, except in books and videos.
Hate for these toxic people has consumed me each day for over 3 years now. I have never hated anyone so much. If I could move I would.

Jesus paid the second death punishment in the lake of fire and brimstone for your sins - the exact penalty for each and every sin you ever committed. How much have you paid for your neighbors? Did you pay their debt of sin so as to earn the right to hate those whom Christ died for?

Matt 18 describes a case of "forgiveness revoked". He shows someone of whom it is said "I forgave you ALL that debt"... show then would not forgive others just as he had been forgiven.

The problem is - that person did not fully understand just how great was the forgiveness , how costly, how massive it was - so then when a minor infraction (by comparison) was owed him - he was "unforgiving" to others. And then in Matt 18 - his own massive forgiveness was "revoked".

Not forgiving someone else does not endanger their salvation before God - it only endangers your own salvation according to Christ in Matt 18 and in Ezek 18 and in Matt 6.

Ask yourself "what is my life worth?" how much fire and brimstone do you want in exchange for the luxury of hating your neighbor?

They way to beat this thing is to take a good long hard look at Christ. Read this free online world class commentary on the life of Christ. It will change your life.

I can understand neighbor problems as one of my siblings had trouble & even called the police on the neighbor. It did no good as he continued the obnoxious behavior. My sibling did move because their sleep was affected EVERY SINGLE night.

Hate the sin and pity the sinner. These people if they don't turn from their evil will spend eternity away from God and that will be far worse punishment than any amount of hatred you can stir up towards them.

In three years, since they moved here, and psychologically abused me everyday , I am seeing a cardiologist with heart issues, a gastroenterologist for stomach problems and a therapist for mental health issues. The anger and hate is eating me alive. I plot revenge everyday. I want justice and the community to know what they are like behind closed doors, but they are very subtle in this abuse. They are sadists, I am certain. This is harder for me as a born again Christian, as I am repressing so much.

Yes, the absolute worst is being away from GOD. I know this is the cause of problems since the garden of eden. The thing is they go to Church, do favors for neighbors, community volunteering, and caring for animals and elderly. All kinds of good things, which makes me feel even worse, as I don't think anyone would believe me. It has been a very sneaky, slow, behind the scenes, torturing process. They know I am all alone in this world, as GOD has set me apart from others.

You can love your neighbor without liking what they do. When we get Born Again, God gives us the power to do just that. Taking reasonable steps for self-defense is not a sin, but grudges, hatred & vengeance certainly are.

Besides being unhealthy for you, the latter can annul your Salvation [Matt. 18:21-35].

You need to separate the actions from the individuals, hate the sin, love the sinner.

Sorry you are going through this ordeal. May I offer - since I need the Lord to forgive me, I asks for His help to forgive others based on "For if you forgive others their offenses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you;" (Matt 6:14). Also, "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;" (Matt 5:44). Instead of putting all these thoughts, time and energy about them, encourage you follow God's Word and speak blessings and turn your focus on your Lord and Savior. Yes I know it's very difficult!! - I have a list too but our lives are so much better when we follow His wisdom. Learned that it wouldn't be in Scripture if we couldn't do it plus He knows we have to have His divine help do what He says.

I have the same neighbors. Atrocities you wouldn't believe. I made up my mind to let God take care of it. Judging from my past experiences it won't happen in my lifetime. Hang on! Praying.
I try not to think on my situation too long. Nothing helps. It only builds up if you dwell on it.

It is so cringe worthy. I completely understand. You really need to get it off your chest. It really helps. Any chance you can see a counselor?

It's not easy to turn a cheek and not want revenge, that's why we have the Holy Spirit in us as born again believers to help us have peace in these times. To hate their sin and not them, to understand it's the dark power behind them that drives them. They have not been set free, don't let yourself join in in that. Through the blood on the cross we who are born again can be set free but we must be willing and agree. Through the changed heart we can have an affect on those around us, just some folks appose the light and want to live in the darkness that surrounds them. Even attack the light that is in us. But we should still live in that light and shed it abroad. God does the heavy work but we must let Him, we must call on His name. Read some of the psalms and see how David dealt with this stuff. As did so many others in the bible. Read Gideons story as the Lord cut his army to nothing and prevailed. Elijah and Elisha, Joseph prevailing in prison. How ? By enduring, believing and trusting. It's God who turns things around for good not us !

It is obvious from the above quote God has hemmed you in to face this very hour in your life. You could start with a prayer like, " Precious sovereign Lord, your ways are not my ways, You know what is best. You have put me here to face this very test. This is who I am. This is where I am at. This is where you have placed me. Do with me what you will. For Your sake and my neighbors sake, may your love be stronger than my hate."

I would say come to Him with this acceptance, attitude, and type of prayer day by day until you His love and life shines through. It is always to Christ's glory that He forges us in the fire to become overcomers. So for His sake and your neighbors I pray He will do just that. Perhaps like Esther you were placed here for a time like this. You never know what God can do with a thing like that!

If you can prove harassment call the police.

They both know I have severe COPD and have trouble breathing and also I am on oxygen 24/7. They always see a portable tank on me outside. They make fire pits with a lot of smoke in the yard we share. It is not a normal firepit. It is mostly billows of smoke they just sit and stare at. My chest burns even when I close up my house, which is only 10, at the most 15 yards away from the pit, in the same yard, but they said it is their right. I was advised by our landlord (we have the same landlord), I may be asked to move if I call the fire dept. or police for harassing them. They said, Anybody can have a fire pit. What would you do if you cannot move? Mind you, these people are local church members who volunteer to help others, but behind closed doors, is another side to them. I do not belong to a Church, as I have no automobile and my portable tank lasts only 2 hours. I live alone. No family. No people to talk to.

Always remember that holding onto grudges and anger will cause you mental and health problems. "To carry a grudge is like being stung to death by one bee." - William H. Walton.

Dislike the actions that they're committing, feel sorry for the people committing them. If anything, forgive them, not because they deserve forgiveness, but because you need peace of mind. When you have to talk to them, be nice and polite. If they ask for a favor, do so in such a way that they'd feel indebted to you, which would (hopefully) either get them to stop asking for more favors, or to try to pay you back.

Sometimes the best way to deal with irritating neighbors is to ignore them, kind of like if you needed to deal with a kid having a temper tantrum, and keep your distance from them. Whatever you do, DO NOT RETALIATE, I know it's tempting to try and use their own tricks against them, but don't do it, it'll backfire and make you look like the problem.

I hope and pray that God helps you get some peace of mind!

If the smoke is giving you legitimate health problems, then it isn't a nuisance, you may need to contact a lawyer if the local fire department is being reluctant to do anything about it. Try to get some fans to keep the smoke away, caulk and seal up windows, and get some door stoppers to keep the air from flowing in through a door crack.

I have asked for help from my local legal aid office (free legal aid) to help me, but they said they cannot take my case. I was told by my landlord, who lives in another state, to not complain about them, everybody has firepits, and to move. Yes, I covered my entire windows, doors and whole walls with plastic, but I do not know how, but the odor and smoke still gets in. I know I should relocate, have looked at the apartment ads, but nobody will rent to 3 cats and I refuse to give any of them up. I love them.
