I need a girlfriend ...

What a weird topic of discussion lol .... Well , Im a lonely guy. I prayed to Jesus for a girlfriend but nothing is happening yet... Do you guys have any christian tips on how I can get a grilfriend through christ ?

do you attend any Christian youth groups..
I know for your age girlfriends are important....but relationshipe at that age are very challenging.
The best advice I gave my son was don't strive to have 'girlfriends' but strive to be 'friends' with girls....they really need guys they can count on and trust feel safe with...with no ties or expectations..just hang out and have fun.
And he has so many 'girl-friends' who really appreciate him as a friend...
Coming from a different perspective might help....and open doors to having many friends and not feel lonely....risk getting involved in healthy youth activities....;o) and be a friend..a good safe trustworthy friend...;o)

You don't need a girlfriend as bad as you think you do. Jesus can fill the void of loneliness far greater than any girlfriend could. Spend more time with Jesus.

Why do you want a girlfriend? You say you are a "lonely guy" but, unless you're specifically referring to romantic companionship, I fail to see why think the cure for your loneliness is a girlfriend.

Instead of asking us for how to get a girlfriend, maybe you can clarify why you want a girlfriend.

Im a 15 year old guy giving up on his porn addiction ...... This is why I need a girlfriend -_- ..

Do you not know how hard it is to give up on porn like that at my age ? And to live ?

Of course you are. You are designed that way. Unfortunately, those hormones don't wait until marriage to start manifesting themselves. Either way, it is something that all people deal with, some more than others. It is a struggle and anyone who tells you otherwise is either mental or lying. I have decided to give up porn and my masturbating habbits ! wow ... Isin't that great ? I NEED YOUR HELP THOHGH .... I will delete all my porn, and go straight for the calling of Jesus !

Believe me, I know what it is like to be a walking hormone. I'm 32. Not 132. Anyway, you have to understand that what you're looking for is not so much a godly woman whom God has gifted you with as a more acceptable outlet for your lustful feelings. As I said (and I know it's easier said than done), seek first to be conformed to the image of Christ. It is He who will grace you with that anyway.

I HAVE JUST NOW DELETED 20 GB OF PORN ON MY COMPUTER AND HAVE TAKEN UP MY CROSS TO FOLLOW THE CALLING OF JESUS.

I encourage you to do just that. However, remember, you are a work in progress. Don't be discouraged by failure, for it is not a lack of failure that marks a godly person. It is desiring to be like Christ and acknowledging in godly sorrow those times when we are not. Those who think they don't struggle with the sins you struggle with either struggle with other sins or they are deluded.

Just keep striving to be righteous, for the Lord is righteous. Ask for His help. You'll need it.

Congratulations and, as I said, remember that success is measured in not only how well you obey Jesus but in how you supplicate yourself and your desires to Him when you do not obey. The biggest part of the battle against sin is that you never give up and repent when you sin against the Lord.

Good. However the danger of getting a girlfriend right now is that you may try and act out some of those fantasies you learned from the porn. You need to learn how to respect a woman before you are worthy to have one. I would recommend going for Christian friends of both genders, where both are intentionally respecting the other rather than just being date-hungry beasts.

Have you read "Every Young Man's Battle"? If not, read it. There's more stuff God needs to deal with yet.

Your 15 and coming off a porn addiction... It would be dangerous to seek a romantic relationship right now. Make friends on both sides of the gender aisle and take your mind OFF any lustful desies. Get involved in church and youth group.
