I do try to repent but I'm worried if I have committed the unforgivable sin nothing will matter I will burn.

If you were apostate, you wouldn't care, if you would burn.

It seems like you could be condemned and scared. Jesus never said you once you committed that sin you would become uncaring and unrepentant, He just said you will never be forgiven.

I'm nearly sure I've committed the unpardonable sin. A lot of people say I haven't, but they use the same arguments over and over, and I still have no peace. I sometimes feel very close to suicide because that would be better than letting the unforgivable sin keep replaying over and over in my head. For the record, what I did was believing the Holy Spirit wanted me to do something and I not only resisted it at first but I called Him the most evil name there is. I am nearly certain hellfire and maggots are awaiting me at my judgement.

The blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, specific as it was to the Pharisees’ situation, cannot be duplicated today. Jesus Christ is not on earth, and no one can personally see Jesus perform a miracle and then attribute that power to Satan instead of the Spirit. The only unpardonable sin today is that of continued unbelief. For more detail~~~>https://gotquestions.org/unpardonable-sin.html .

I'm a sinner saved by grace. The only one I fear is God. For He is the one who can send my soul to Hell.

Please show me that scripture?

When Jesus said "blessed are the poor in spirit" - the words in the original language mean not just poor in grace, but knowing it, wanting it, and actively searching for it.

It cries out from your post, you want the relationship mended so badly, know that you may have offended, and hope that he will not desert you because of it, hoping to do better if given another chance , so a firm pupose of amendment. Those are plenty enough for Him! You are forgiven already, all you must do is ask in humility. And try to keep to the promise of not again! After all, you only rejected him once, Peter denied him three times!

Peter denied Him under pressure without meaning anything bad. That's different. He also only pretended to not know Jesus, he said nothing about the Holy Spirit.

But Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to earth, wouldn't that mean even Christians can now commit the unpardonable sin?

According to Jesus, the unpardonable or unforgivable sin is unique. It is the one iniquity that will never be forgiven (“never” is the meaning of “either in this age or in the age to come” in Matthew 12:32). The unforgivable sin is blasphemy (“defiant irreverence”) of the Holy Spirit in the context of the Spirit’s work in the world through Christ. In other words, the particular case of blasphemy seen in Matthew 12 and Mark 3 is unique. The guilty party, a group of Pharisees, had witnessed irrefutable evidence that Jesus was working miracles in the power of the Holy Spirit, yet they claimed that He was possessed by the prince of demons, Beelzebul (Matthew 12:24; Mark 3:30).

The Jewish leaders of Jesus’ day committed the unpardonable sin by accusing Jesus Christ (in person, on earth) of being demon-possessed. They had no excuse for such an action. They were not speaking out of ignorance or misunderstanding. The Pharisees knew that Jesus was the Messiah sent by God to save Israel. They knew the prophecies were being fulfilled. They saw Jesus’ wonderful works, and they heard His clear presentation of truth. Yet they deliberately chose to deny the truth and slander the Holy Spirit. Standing before the Light of the World, bathed in His glory, they defiantly closed their eyes and became willfully blind. Jesus pronounced that sin to be unforgivable.

There is no pardon for a person who dies in his rejection of Christ. The Holy Spirit is at work in the world, convicting the unsaved of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). If a person resists that conviction and remains unrepentant, then he is choosing hell over heaven. “Without faith it is impossible to please God” (Hebrews 11:6), and the object of faith is Jesus (Acts 16:31). There is no forgiveness for someone who dies without faith in Christ.

God has provided for our salvation in His Son (John 3:16). Forgiveness is found exclusively in Jesus (John 14:6). To reject the only Savior is to be left with no means of salvation; to reject the only pardon is, obviously, unpardonable.

I think you missed my point, the Holy Spirit has been sent by Christ to us, right? So anyone who knows that could look at His modern or ancient works and attribute them to Satan or call Him evil.

Deer glow.

What I said about Peter was afterthought, the rest I said valid!
If you are sincere in repentance, and purpose of amendment you are fine- after all Paul did his level best to destroy Christianity and Christians before his conversion! Whatever you have done is not as bad as apostle Paul!

Yeah, I agree.
This is apostasy. When your conscience is so seared that you even say the Holy Spirit is evil or of the devil. Without conviction, remorse or even a bit afraid of God. Yeah, that is a sin that cannot be forgiven. But to get to that, God makes sure that you have heard the Gospel. The choice is still ours, whether to repent or not to.

Are you calling it apostasy or wilful slander? Or both?

Both. If you willfully slander the Holy Spirit, your conscience would have to be so seared that even the holy spirit could not lay conviction upon you. This is what is meant when God lets people go their own way, to become a reprobate minded person. They have no use of God, they don't believe in Him at all, in no uncertain terms would they go to Him for anything. They want to be completely away from Him. God will give that to them, here on earth and most definitely in Hell.
But for a person to get to that point, it would take and insurmountable amount of hate or selfishness against God.
Those who have reprobate minds live corrupt and selfish lives. Sin is justified and acceptable to them. The reprobates are those whom God has rejected and has left to their own devices.

Can a Christian have a reprobate mind? Someone who has sincerely accepted Jesus Christ by faith will not have this mindset because the old person with a reprobate mind has been recreated into a new creation: “The old has passed away; behold, the new has come” (2 Corinthians 5:17). Christians are basically “new” people. We live differently and speak differently. Our world is centered on our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and how we can serve Him. Also, if we are truly in the faith, we will have the Holy Spirit to help us live a God-honoring life (John 14:26). Those with reprobate minds do not have the Spirit and live only for themselves.

I fear that I have spoken too willing evil words about Him. That's what scares me. I don't feel convicted like I did before. I don't want to be apart from God but I fear I'm going to hell.

Again, If you weren't concerned about it or even bothered about it, you wouldn't be worried that you are not forgiven.

Therefore, you are being convicted by the Holy Spirit. Not only for the sin of blasphemy, but also because you don't trust God to forgive you.

The problem, may not be God forgiving you...it may be you forgiving yourself. Many times that can be a huge issue.

But remember this. What God forgives, He forgives all. not just a portion. You and I can't judge ourselves in that manner. We are not God. He will judge us. He's the one that will say, depart from me or Well done my faithful servant. Not us. All we can do, when we sin, is to ask for forgiveness, trusting the Christ is just and righteous to forgive us our sins. He is and will forgive you.

There are sins in my life that I battle with daily. Things I've done, that may seem unforgivable. By Society standards, they may not be. But with God, they are. Because He said He would forgive me if I repent and place my trust in Him. And I do. We have to remember that with Christ we have victory over sin, death, hell and the grave.

Unless you've become so deviant, so malicious, so selfish, so unforgiving, so blasphemous, so hateful, denying God, Christ and the Holy Spirit. Living to only satisfy yourself. And you continue to do so, even when in the presence of God, ignoring the draw and conviction of the Holy Spirit. If you are that way. Then you may be in trouble.
But I know a God, that forgives, He forgives those that are deviant, malicious, selfish, unforgiving, blasphemous, hateful, and hate Him. He forgives those that think he can't be forgiven. He forgives no matter what society says about those he forgives. His grace is more abound, when sin is there. His mercy is great and forever. What He forgives, He doesn't remember, why should we.

Place your Trust in Christ. Put down these thoughts, stand still and watch God work in your life.
Deny yourself, pick up that cross and follow Him.
