Adios!

psst... you do know Ahmadinejad had denied the Holocaust happened, supports terrorism, and wants Israel wiped off the map, don't you? But hey, guess all that can be forgiven since he hates homosexuals!
Ahmadinejad statements about the Holocaust are taken out of context. He never denied that 6 million Jews were killed, he stated that over 40 million civilians were killed during WWII, making the Holocaust only less than 25% of civilian casualties- relatively he argued (not me) that it was hardly a holocaust.

Get educated. While I disagree with him, he makes a valid point.

No, there are no homosexuals in Iran. I do not know who told you this.

It's fairly impossible to live in a country with nothing of one person. They all had to go somewhere. Sounds like Iran government doesn't want to face the truth or doesn't want to fess up.

This statement does not hold any water.

How would you KNOW for a fact that there aren't any homosexuals in Iran? Why the heck would you even dare to believe that a whole Country wouldn't have any gay people in it? If people have been executed that were homosexuals there to start, that could easily
lead us to believe there are more. :help:

The president of Iran stated there were no homosexuals in his country. He should know.

Someone said there were an esitmated 4000 executions of homosexuals in Iran- prove there was even 1.

This is another example of folks living in denial.

Reps to Lunarplexus, for dispelling the "there are no gays in Iran" myth. Reminds me of that animated movie American Tail, "There are no cats in America...".

Oh yeah Bafriend, like I care what some President says, and like he is "all-knowing". The only way that he would be able to tell you the accurate truth is if he had a gay-dar, which he doesn't possess.

You're going to move there to preach the gospel I hope. And also to oppose the injustice of executing homosexuals, right? I wish you well in your endeavor.

If only it were so. There is no country without homosexuality. Whether it be wrong or not, that man is killing people for a reason they should not be killed. We aren't perfect, but to move there just for that dosen't speak well of your character. I'm sorry for saying this, since your my elder but... why come here and start something like this? Is this really emulating our beloved Christ?

I think Bafriend was being ironic with his OP. Or I hope he was. Perhaps I am wrong.

I loved the audience reaction when the prez of Iran said there are no "homosexuals" in Iran. The audience burst into laughter.

However hard it is to be gay in the United States, it's a zillion times harder to be gay in Iran, where gay folks are put to death.

I heard on NPR that people outside the talk were debating who is the bigger threat to the world: the president of Iran or the president of the United States.
