I Might Move to Iran.

Ahmadinejad statements about the Holocaust are taken out of context. He never denied that 6 million Jews were killed, he stated that over 40 million civilians were killed during WWII, making the Holocaust only less than 25% of civilian casualties- relatively he argued (not me) that it was hardly a holocaust.

Get educated. While I disagree with him, he makes a valid point.
The difference is the other 75% were not systematically rounded up and exterminated. It IS a holocaust. (Holocaust is the word for burnt offering/sacrifice, and it is appropriately termed so.)

I Might Move to Iran.

“In Iran we don’t have homosexuals like in your country.”
“In Iran we do not have this phenomenon. I don’t know who’s told you that we have this.”
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad when asked about executions of homosexuals.

Yep, love the sinner hate the sin. :sigh:

I'm currently debating on whether to call Poe or not.

On a related note, if any country were to have no homosexuals, it would be Vatican City. NOT because it's Catholic, but because <1000 people live there. Smallest population of any country on earth=largest chance of not having someone with one specific feature (in this case, homosexuality.)

On the other hand, Iran with 70 million people undoubtably has some, even if they are currently in hiding.

The man is a Muslim. Of course there are no homosexuals in Iran. Why are yall try to debate what this man said? He knows there are gay people in Iran. His statement was one of Muslim principle in that they don't openly condone the behavior of gay people.

There is indeed a gay underground in Iran, Pakistan and a large majority of Middle Eastern countries. There has been for thousands of years.

But because of islam, don't expect to go to the Middle east and see a gay district.

Dude has probably had some daliances himself.

Someone said there were an esitmated 4000 executions of homosexuals in Iran- prove there was even 1.

The criminal code of Iran (I cant link as yet just google and you will find the same pdf I am reading from) clearly states that the punishment for male homosexual intercourse is death (Book two, chapter two, section one, article 110) and that the punisment for female homosexual intercourse is 100 lashes and death upon the fourth conviction (Book two, chapter three, article 129 and 131). Why is there any doubt that these laws were and are being applied?

You can't technically procreate there anyway so there may very well be no heterosexuals either.

Did you see my reasoning? It had nothing to do with religion but with population size. The smaller a population, the lower the chance that a 1 in X chance is in that population. And since Vatican City has the lowest population of any country, it has the lowest chance of having any homosexuals. If you see something wrong with my reasoning please point it out.

Vatican City, the Asexual Land.

Someone needs to send that in as an ad campaign.

That's got me crackin' my side. :D But on the real, if there are 1000 people there, there is a gay man and he is having gay sex with somebody.

we are talking about the Catholic Church aren't we? It would be very difficult to go through life adddidng to God's Word and expect to have the covering needed to resist the lust of the flesh.

Wouldn't surprise me if The Vatican wasn't like DC. Of course they would probably kill and entomb anyone who came close to leaking the story.

...shouldn't the fact the population is made up almost exclusively of men be factored in? You say out of a population 1-X will be gay, if you elliminate women doesn't that raise the chances of there being more gays not lessen it? And if you have a smaller group the number of gays that ARE present form a larger percentage of the population? (ie: 100 gay men in a population of 1000 = 1-10. 25 gay men in a population of 100 equals 1-4) see my point?

Well, before I reply to tulc, I would like to say that I am in fact wrong, and according to the UN estimate found on Wiki, the Pitcarin Islands actaully only have 50 people. So they would have the smallest chance of having one, most likely.

But, on to talking to tulc.

...shouldn't the fact the population is made up almost exclusively of men be factored in? You say out of a population 1-X will be gay, if you elliminate women doesn't that raise the chances of there being more gays not lessen it?
Well, homosexuals can be men or women. So, if we assume the same % of both are homosexual, reducing the number of women to zero would not have an effect. But, I could be wrong in that assumption; I don't have the data in front of me.

And if you have a smaller group the number of gays that ARE present form a larger percentage of the population? (ie: 100 gay men in a population of 1000 = 1-10. 25 gay men in a population of 100 equals 1-4) see my point?
I agree with this, but it wasn't my point. But it is true. The fewer people, the larger the percentage of homosexuals compared to a larger population with the same # of them.

So, I kinda see your point, but kinda not.

As for celebreties, the only guy I can think of who might ork is David Jay. But I'm not sure about him.

The only person living in denial is that president. There were lots of people who said those executions happened and you're believing one person saying such people never existed.

There is no proof that these two men were executed for being gay, just inuendo and speculation by politically morivated pro-gay groups.

Iran's response was that these two men were executed for raping a boy. Now, if you wish to state that because they rape boys they are gay, go ahead. But we are going to loop into the old "homosexuals are not pedaphiles" arguement. Which of course would be ironic, given that some here are stating the two were indeed homosexuals. You know, that is kind of rude, asserting they are homosexuals just because they raped a child. For shame !

Kind of reminds me of this case here :

Justice Served In Jesse Dirkhising Murder Case
Washington, DC - "The conviction of homosexual sadist Joshua Brown for the torture, rape, and murder of 13-year-old Jesse Dirkhising, is a relief to those of us in the pro-family community," said Rev. Louis P. Sheldon, Chairman of Traditional Values Coalition. "Brown has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for raping Jesse, but still faces life in prison on the murder charge."
... "Why is the death of Jesse Dirkhising of less importance than the death of Matthew Shepard at the hands of two killers? Is it because discussing the perverted lifestyle of Jesse's murderers isn't politically correct?"

Why not stay in the U.S. and join the Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka, Kansas? I'm sure Fred Phelps, and his followers would welcome you with open arms.
