hey I just registered....I`m Japher..and im a guy...I have been a cutter for a year (13-14.) I have been sexually abuse so badly....I`m on my egde here...I`ll be 18 next week and all this started when I was 10.....so I might start cutting myself..I`VE thought abot it.....and I might do it.....most of my freinds are cutters....so I like girls who cut...heck I`ve cut myself....but I`m tempted to use very violent things on myself ..I`m...uh....gong through some boy stuff....so all this is happening within two days...so I`M ready to hurt myself... help me and please pray for me.

The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. I'll pray for you Japher. I know how hard cutting is to completely stop. I haven't cut in 6 weeks and I don't plan on going back. Hang in there. Lily00

Japher, I don't know how to help. When was the last time you cut/hurt yourself? If it's been awhile, don't start back down this road. I know it's hard to stop, I'm desperately trying to stop myself. I'll be praying for you...if at all possible, don't turn back to this. God loves you and doesn't want to see you hurt yourself.

i havent thought about cutting nor hurting....I`m giong through some sexual.....temtations...that i wont go into...that...but I do want to cut...to feel like bleeding....uh..sorry...I dont want any cutters doing this stuff because I said so...look...Im giong to -play grand theft auto..but I`ll still be on..bye

Please know many of us have endured similar tragedies and have suffered too. We are all in different stages of recovery. I, myself, was sexually assaulted as a child, then ganged in Jr. High, and then druged two years ago. I have a long history of abuse and have endured alot of physical and emotional pain. Please know that I understand your pain and confusion all to well. I have hit bottome many times. Don't give up. You are a survivor and though you don't feel that way now, you will. You will overcome your pain and suffering, but you have to fight. We are all here to help you in that fight.
I hope you can get some counseling to put you on a path of healing. I spent many years in counseling and have found it to be a blessing.
In the meantime brother, I will say many prayers for you. You will survive. You will become strong. You will become a blessing to others who have been through what you have been through. You will have a wonderful minisistry to help others. Go forward in Christ, and face your demon. Stand strong. Don't give in to your feelings. They are just feelings and feelings are not truth. God is truth. You are a pearl. Pearls comes from a wound.
