Thanks, maybe one day I'll get around to editing the eyes on Maui's photo to lighten them up.

All 4 are mine. 2 are (in heaven I'm convinced), both Maui and Zeener. I miss that Maui ... And Harry is legally mine but he's not into being hugged and kissed so he's living with my mom (who isn't a hugger OR a kisser)

Nothing wrong loving cats....sad thing is, I love them, but now I have developed an allergy towards them. :\

But maybe join a church group or volunteer more, this might get you open to the idea of also being around people.

I have actually often prayed about cats and allergies...prayed that God would always keep me from allergies. A life without cats? I don't know ...

The church group thing is a great idea. I found a warm and welcoming church the other night, quite by accident. The only thing is, I would have to learn spanish. It was a welcoming church, really warm and welcoming; in my opinion this is what makes a good foundation. I think. It's been a long time since having a church family.

The other day someone knocked on my door. It was disappointing. Later that day on my way to the laundry room a neighbors cat ran to me. I was elated.

Is there a cure for this?

I think I would word it differently -

You enjoy the warmth and affection that cats show you, more than the cold indifference of society at large.

Yet, part of the reason, "why you like cats more than us", is because we too, like your cats better than you !

May we seek to be, what we wish others were.

Some bring friendly pets to nursing homes etc. for therapeutic contact with those who are lonely and suffering.

I like the idea. It would have to be someone elses cat. Mine isn't outgoing enough. If God opens such a door I'll walk through.

i like dogs better than cats and all animals better than some people. i am not sure why this is a problem. love and like are different. God commands us to love one another, not to like them. but zeener if you are feeling isolated from people then that is not good for you either. maybe meet up with some cat people? i bet you'd have a lot in common.
