  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have to wonder if the whole world isn't laughing at us

While Obama has made some mistakes, I don't think either one will be any better than he was.
It would be hard for them to be worse, and both have been on the international stage already and shown more grace than Obama, so it's a good bet if not something that's guaranteed.

Well, i tend to think the main stream media leans left, which is why this surprises me. In fact, early on, fox was probably giving trump the roughest ride of anyone.

Now Fox fully supports him. Did you ever see John Stewart's thing about how Fox News praises Trump for things they criticized Obama about?

Didnt see it, but i agree fox has turned. Early on though, they were rough on him. In reality, i dont think any of the media took him seriously, until it became clear he would win the nomination.

I agree. I don't watch any American media anyway, I think it's all vitriol, biased nonsense, fearmongering, and misinformation.

I mean look to the past, 20, 80, 100, 200 years ago? What has happened to us? Don't others see it as ridiculous as well?

I live here and see politics as ridiculous. That's why I rescinded my voter registration, so I'm completely off their voter rolls in all states I've lived on.

What has happened to us? People are easily deceived. They do not study law with their own eyes and efforts, they are educated in public schools with controlled information, and people depend on "professionals" to interpret the law for them. As a result, public servants have become the "masters" and they're drunk with power.

Back in the 1800s, we did have a Republic. The organic constitution still stands. (There are two state Constitutions, one is Republic and one is Statutory)

After signing the Declaration of Independence, a woman asked Ben Franklin, "What do we have?" Ben replied, "A Republic, if you can keep it."

Ben Franklin was spot-on, because he knew the British Crown was on their heels ready to trick and deceive the people. And here we are.

Media's purpose is to control the masses.

The news is lies and movies are truth. This is how the Free Masons (upper levels controlling the media) do it.

US politics has been the same since the days of the founders. They were vicious toward each other, often telling outright lies about their opponents. Don't make them into something they weren't.

As far as I know the British Crown is not trying to deceive us. We have a very informed electorate with access to virtually any information that they want. You can Google anything and/or find it on places such as Wikipedia.

Also, as far as I know, there is only ONE Constitution. It's a great document and has kept this country great and moving forward for 227 years. Not bad!

Trump has already been a disgrace abroad (Ireland and Mexico) and he isn't President. He's a national embarrassment.

Of course! No paranoia or phobia here! Thanks for the enlightenment!

No. It all began with the defacto state Constitutions. Round about 1887.

As far as I know the British Crown is not trying to deceive us.
They own the US Corp.

We have a very informed electorate with access to virtually any information that they want. You can Google anything and/or find it on places such as Wikipedia.
You can find better information in a major law library, even in a law dictionary at an ordinary library holds more valuable information than Wikipedia.

There are two levels of citizens on the land. US vs Cruikshank.

The British Crown controls the Free Masons, who control the media, who are trying to deceive Americans?

Free Masons are in the Crown establishment. They certainly control and own American media, medicine, money...

I don't normally participate in the political forum, but I see nearly all of the "most replies today" are from this area. I popped in and glanced at a few threads.

Does it ever occur to any of you that the whole world may be laughing at us? Do you ever look to past Presidents, and wonder how it came to be that Trump and Hillary are the two main choices? Does anyone out there see this as an almost impossibly ridiculous situation?

I'm asking myself how this happened, and why ...
I think about things like the automobile, the iPhone, the Internet, the airplane and zillions of other inventions and I can't help laughing at the rest of the world.

When they're anywhere near our level in terms of creativity, let me know.

I see. Thanks.

I might ask the Queen to sack Sean Hannity.
