Today (Wednesday, October 24, 2012), Floyd Palmer killed Gregory McDowell, a 39-year-old church volunteer at World Changers Church International. In case you're unfamiliar, that's one of the largest churches in the United States.

Fatal Shooting Reported at Creflo Dollar's World Changers Church in Ga.

Why would God allow this to happen? Why in a church that has so many believers? Why not at McDowell's home or place of work? Why in a sanctuary that probably prays to Him and has more faith than the Catholic Church does.

I think one would have to read his story and study it to get his motives.

Nobody can get someone's motives just from reading the title of something they did.

By far and wide, most mass murders do not happen at churches.


Mass murders are highly rare, exceptional conditions. Like lightning striking someone. There tend to be some commonalities with mass murderers... but not enough that I could say why this particular person did what he did without looking at his life.


Rome is the church of Satan, nobody goes there and does such a thing.

It seems to me you all need a new version of God. If the Roman Catholic Church is the Church of Satan and God's let it stand and prosper for two thousand years, and if he couldn't do anything about man sinning--or make a better creation that wouldn't choose to sin--it sure seems like he's pretty weak. Do you still want me to believe He has power over Satan?

Yes to both. Although I have to give you my brief description of the word God, Prayer and miracle, otherwise you may assume certain things. God is just a word……now if life is about connecting, then the element that is at the heart of that connection or central to it is what I would describe as God. Prayer is a connective mechanism, so may I reword your questions to suit my outlook.

Does the connected element answer your connective mechanism?…..Yes. Does the connective element still allow the connected to perform miracles?…yes.

If the questions are worded as above then the debate becomes ......who is connected.

Why are you blaming God for this and not Satan. Because that's who's responsible.
