This is more of a blurb really...
I'm going through a hard time, and not because anything bad has happend, and its really obvious to me when bad things happen that God is still watching out for me.
But sometimes i just have so many questions about God, that the bible doesn't answer straight forward for me.
I'm a very complicated thinker but I like very black and white answers that make sense to me.
but the more questions I ask and the more I seem to learn the more I feel like i don't know!! its so frustrating!!!
I just want to know that I'm right and can keep living how I am. or wrong so I can change...
expect there are SO many oppinions out there that I can never know what is right and wrong by other people, not even other christians, i have to find it out for my self and I can't make sense, or find what I'm looking for in the bible.
and God doesn't just yell at me the right answer and i so wish he would!!
Anyone else feel like this?!

I think everyone comes to a point where they question what they know to be true. God is so magnificent and so abounding that it at times can blow our minds! We live in a society of "put it in front of me and Ill believe it truths" and forget that we on earth are to walk by faith and not by sight.
We all have troubled times and hard events in our lives, but this is when we need to look to God. He is capable of all things and He does not put anything in our lives that we can't handle. Lay your troubles down at the feet of Jesus. Troubling times can strenghten our faith! We never know why things happen when they do, but most often we can look back and realize why they couldnt have happened any other way!

We all have struggles with our faith. Questions pop into our head that we don't know the answer to, and it bugs us. It's happened to me several times this year, as I've had a bit of a rough year. But I've also grown more spiritually this year, I've had more of a passion for the Word than ever before, and I think that's why I've had the faith struggles. The devil sees that not only am I following Jesus, but I've become more apt at teaching others about Jesus as well.

While this may not be your particular situation, the point is that the devil's playground is our minds, that's where he stirs up all his trouble. Jesus is your #1 defense AND offense. If it's questions you need answered, stick to Jesus and you will find them. I know because that's my experience in recent times. :)

You have come to the point where you know you need something else but don't know really what it is. This is very healthy in your walk up the road to the KINGDOM of ALMIGHTY GOD.

You thirst for WISDOM and UNDERSTANDING. This can only be received by praying to GOD and asking for this. This will solve part of what your looking for but it won't get you into the KINGDOM of ALMIGHTY GOD.

To have your thirst fully satisfied you must prepare yourself to receive the answer. You do that by reading and rereading the NEW TESTIMENT until the next time you read it you will already know what it's going to say. For then It's locked in your heart to draw from for the rest of your life. You will never be sorry you did.

Now the final step is to devote your WHOLE life to GOD and seek GOD'S WILL in your every decision. GOD searches the heart and when HE finds you ready HE will ANOINT you with HIS HOLY SPIRIT.

For it is then that you receive a:

1. TEACHER
2. GUIDE
3. COMUNICATOR
4. COMFORTER

At that very point you have a direct line to GOD and no human stands between you and GOD. ( This is hardly ever preached in Church as you no longer have that special spot that keeps you in a certain group ):

" 1 John
Chapter 2

26
I write you these things about those who would deceive you.
27
As for you, the anointing that you received from him remains in you, so that you do not need anyone to teach you. But his anointing teaches you about everything and is true and not false; just as it taught you, remain in him. "

This is a REQUIRMENT if you are to enter the KINGDOM of ALMIGHTY GOD. ( ANOINTED- BORN AGAIN- SAVED ) GOD will be waiting on you.

ALWAYS REMEMBER:

JESUS IS RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE AT!!! EVEN THOUGH YOU DON'T SEE HIM!!!

This revelation is the key.. Understand just by the nature of our finite minds we will never be able to comprehend the infinite (or God) Because of this, we must look to understand the nature and the reasons for all of our questions..

I believe that the reason for the questions most of us have is not so we maybe supplied answers, but for the work involved in obtaining the answers.. In that work, "we" (Even non believers) are force to Ask, Seek, and knock.. This process is the Key to heaven and more importantly The Key to a lasting relationship with God Himself..

In the grand scheme of things Your relationship or the ability to have and maintain one is what all of this life is supposed to be about.. Don't be discouraged because you may not have the answers to this weeks questions, but rejoice in the fact that an infinite God cares enough to put them on your heart, so that you may spend your time here Asking, Seeking, and Knocking in order to build on what you already share.

there are SO many oppinions out there that I can never know what is right and wrong by other people, not even other christians

I'd encourage you to be involved in a good church where they have regular meetings and other events such as bible study. Fellowship and being under teaching with like-minded believers allows us to grow in Christ (Heb 10:25) and helps firm our doctrinal beliefs so we're not swayed by every new doctrine that comes along.

Search the scriptures to see if what people tell you is Biblical (Acts 17:11). The more you do this, the stronger your faith and convictions will be. If you're not sure where to look or have questions, ask your pastor or leaders in the church, and then take note of what scriptures they refer to. They should be able to give you a straight, balanced answer. Sometimes not all questions can be answered in black and white, but the answer given should ring true with God's character and implications in the Word of God.

"we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head- Christ." (Eph. 4:14-15)

I think I agree with what you've said here, it makes alot of sense to me.
thank you.
Do you have any scripture referance I can read to back this up?

I am involved in a good church, and I join there over 18 bible study group we have every other week.
But sometimes I feel the questions that are asked and what we talk about there is so irrelevant to today, and sometimes quite immature that I really can't be bothered.
I would like to ask questions myself but most the time I don't even know what to ask...

I would love to do this but I don't know where to look and...

I don't usually know what I'm confused about, or how to ask what I want to ask... it's all just jumbled up in my head.

"we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head- Christ." Is there anything I can help you with? What types of questions do you want answered? I go to scripture for many of these answers. God isn't the author of confusion, I Co 14:33.

I would go through the Bible and start in the New Testament or Old Testament and start reading. Next, write down questions as you go. I good source of info. is CRI (Christian Research Institute) and there is www.christiananswers.net. I can answer questions and give you a personal online bible study if you want via email.

Hello again!
Can you give me some ideas on this one...?

Why is it that the people that continue to make the same mistakes over and over again, seem to be the most helped and blessed the most?
and the people that try really hard to stay on the right track and learn from their mistakes and help others out, just seem to get all the hard stuff?

I don't get it... I thought God blessed us for doing right? why are people I know being blessed for doing wrong?

Look through your Bible and I think you'll notice something.

Moses, at age eighty, is at peace being a shepherd when God singles him out to return to Egypt, (where there may be a murder warrant out on him), confront one of the most powerful men in the world, then spend forty years leading a rebellious and stiff-necked people to a place where many of them don't want to go.

Gideon, anything but a soldier, is called to raise and lead an army; and finally to launch a tricky maneuver that has ruined the reputation of many a career general: a night attack by an inferior force.

Job undergoes his trials precisely because he is God's favorite!

One prophet after another is told to speak God's word knowing that no one will listen. Jeremiah not only has to prophecy the destruction of Jerusalem; but to see it and it's aftermath.

Mary is blessed among woman; but will live to see her Son die on a criminal's death on a cross. To watch every second of it.

All of the apostles will die the death of martyrs, as will who-knows-how-many in persecution. Across the world today, people are jailed and killed simply because they will not give up their faith.

A Jewish friend once told me that every Jew sometimes asks, "Lord, would you please choose some other people for a while?" Being "blessed" can be much the same. You can be forgiven a wish to run and hide. Jesus himself asked that the cup pass from him; and cried "Why hath thou forsaken me?"

Those people who, as you say, make the same mistakes over and over? Well, some of them are doing the best they can. The others? Reread the parable of Lazarus and Dives. As Jesus said of some of the more obvious hypocrites, "They have had their reward."

Yours is yet to come; and may not be in this earthly life.

Be real careful of what you call BLESSINGS.

" the people that try really hard to stay on the right track and learn from their mistakes and help others out "

To me this is the BIG BLESSING!

" just seem to get all the hard stuff? "

" THOSE THAT ARE GIVEN MORE, MORE SHALL BE EXPECTED "

Now which BLESSING would you have?

Sorry for my late reply I primarily referenced,
Luke.11:

5Then he said to them, "Suppose one of you has a friend, and he goes to him at midnight and says, 'Friend, lend me three loaves of bread, 6because a friend of mine on a journey has come to me, and I have nothing to set before him.' 7"Then the one inside answers, 'Don't bother me. The door is already locked, and my children are with me in bed. I can't get up and give you anything.' 8I tell you, though he will not get up and give him the bread because he is his friend, yet because of the man's boldness he will get up and give him as much as he needs. 9"So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 10For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. 11"Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? 12Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? 13If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"

In this story it is persistence and a true desire to obtain what it was the friend sought after that yielded results... Being supplied with a potentially infinite number of Question, and having a finite mind and life span, also sets us up perpetually as "the friend with midnight visitors." As such we are placed in a position to always seek God.. If we so choose. It is through this work that we find and are able to maintain a relationship with him.

Read Matthew 5:3-11, all you answers are there.

and the people that try really hard to stay on the right track and learn from their mistakes and help others out, just seem to get all the hard stuff?
Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called sons of God.
Blessed are thos who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.

I don't get it... I thought God blessed us for doing right? why are people I know being blessed for doing wrong?
Because we love them and forgive them and remember no more!
