:sigh: I pay [last time i went] $3.65

:| I read it might go up to $200 per barrel, which means we will be paying around $6 a gallon at least.
If we paid about $3 for a $100 barrel, then it will double.

And i gotta tell ya, its really buggin me.

 O yeah, trucks are harder on consumption.
I stayed at my daughters soccer practice and waited outside of gymnastics for an hour and a half letting my boys run around, just to avoid my gas hog from running around too much.

It is taking half my pay to fill the van.

:help: Everything that gets shipped to Hawaii costs an extra leg in the process. WOW!
You guys must feel the crunch.:o
If gas gets that high I will demand that my job allow me to telecommute, at least part time.

Do you think it might be time to start drilling our own oil again? I personally care more about us folks than I do about caribou in some spot in Alaska.
We worry about our environment but not about the environment in the countries where we buy our oil.
Nice to make citizens of other countries rich with thier oil wells. How about we start making Americans rich from oil wells?

That is my opinion, anyway.

And as far as alternative fuels, we will still need oil for fuels for other transportation besides cars and also for all the other uses for petrolium and that inludes everything plastic.

You know, I wouldn't be surprised to see more horse and buggies or even dogs pulling carts.

(I've been threatening to teach my dog to pull a cart and so far my husband has been saying "no", but I figure it is only a matter of time before he relents. :D )

I'm thinking about buying a horse and buggy. That could be cool.
Since I don't drive, I was thinking about doing that a few years ago. Now that the gas prices are the way they are, maybe it's time to think about ACTUALLY getting one. ;)

Maybe companies will allow ppl to work more at home to avoid the gas prices.

Hay?
Where i live it would be virtually free. ;)
BUT since we have farmers farming, then i think we would get scarce hay. [But some]
Our farmer planted wheat. :crossrc:

Hopefully it helps with the supplies, some.

I bought a decent trail bike at Walmart for $70.

That is an awesome price. I need to find me that deal!

I use to ride a bike all of the time... don't know what happened...
