I have a question that I would really appreciate you guys answering.

Right, so I have been saving up for AGES, and every now and then I give some money to oxfam.

But I have been saving up to buy a laptop, but the laptop is over £700. Would it be a sin to spend so much on the laptop for myself?. I will still have loads left over afterwards and I won't stop giving to oxfam because of it.

And it's not like I earned the money through prostitution or anything, I wash up at a pub so I think its an honest job (although I did recently take up a shift on sunday because it gave me a promotion, it's not all day at 10PM to about 3PM, and I have asked God to give me a way out of it and I am waiting for it)

But yeah would it be a sin, I am really looking forward to getting it but it would suck if it was a sin.

i dont think so. If your gettin the lab top for lustful sins then no but if its for other stuff than its fun. Be aware though for workin at pub

That sounds cool, my first money earning activity was a paper round ( is that a job?) about 3 years ago, then i got the job at the pub.
The washing up isnt the best but i like the people there and we can have a laugh everynow and then.

yeah, tat kinda sounds like my job. I run into local bands or just ppl with a intrest in music. And its awesome to hear the stories they have to share. But yeah i agree wif u, socailizing and havin a good time while doin ur job, makes it worth the money.
