Here's my well thought out paragraph.
I chose Nursing because I figured it was about time I started getting paid for being so darn smart. I also figured if I was going to be a peon, I might as well be a PAID one. I think scrubs look sexy on people, in all their boxy goodness, so I look forward to buying a closet full of black ones. I'm also looking forward to the sexy shoes we get to wear. In the end, I'm really doing this for the reserved parking spot out by the highway. That is such a trophy of accomplishment to have your name on a spot, even if they think your name is "# 1732". But what better way to relate to the people I help? They wouldn't believe that I can relate to them if it weren't for me having to swim, skate, or dodge moving vehicles during the mile walk to work every day. What I look forward to the most is being blamed for a Doctor's mistake(s). I cannot wait for that day! But in all seriousness, what I look forward to the most is when my first patient looks up at me with gratitude in their eyes and says, "hey can you get me another sherbet?" Or when I perform CPR for the first time that it actually WORKS (oops) and my patient graciously says, "I'm suing you for breaking my ribs."
I'm also really looking forward to vericose vein stripping surgery and I cannot believe I forgot to mention that until now.
