I had asked for prayer because one of my references was slacking in getting their reference in for a job application I had put in. It was getting super close to the deadline, and I didn't know whether to wait and let the Lord get on the person's case to get the reference in, or if I should have asked someone new to do a reference to make sure it got done. I ended up asking a friend of mine to do the reference for me, and I'm glad I did, because I don't think my other person ever turned their reference info in, even though they had quite a while to do it. The job said they would let me know about the status of my application in a week or two.
