  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm due just after Linnis, I'm due October 29th.

I still have that hard belly feeling that makes me not want to lay on my stomach (at least on the ground, which I occasionally will do near the fire place at my friends house) but still can't see any change.

This is my first, but my best friend is pregnant with her 4th, and she's shown a little sooner with each one. Right now she's 32 weeks and about the same size as she was w/ her 3rd full term.

I have a tilted uterus with this pregnancy also. At least I used to, I am not sure that I still do. Did it make things as uncomfortable for you also? As far as sex is concerned I mean. All of our "normal" positions for intercourse (the positions we preferred) were all painful after the second month of pregnancy and I am just now starting to enjoy them again. Well that is a little off thread so I will end it here! :)

It's nearly 10 days later and my stomach is no longer hard and uncomfortable... I think maybe it was my guts. Good ole progesterone makeing things go all crazy in there. I'm down 11lbs and 11 w and 4 d. I think things will start changing in the next few weeks.

No, right now I'm wearing DH's tee shirt though.

I haven't had the strength to go shopping yet, went out today for food and needed to take two snack breaks and napped when I got home. When I got the whole diabetes thing uder control in a week or two I'll go shopping for some bigger stuff.

I totally agree! But, being pregnant in the hot summer is not quite so comfortable...

Agreed, that's why I'm glad i'll have popped little'un out by mid june, before the weather gets really hot (well as hot as it ever does in the UK)

I have a huge belly, it's probably going to be a big baby but my other two were big babies so it's not a suprise. My belly button is almost flat, a few more weeks and it will be.

I was pregnant with my son when it was the hottest summer here in 100 years and the state was literally on fire. I ended up chopping off all of my hair to keep cool, it was the worst ever. I was pregnant with my dd in the winter time, and I could go out in a blizzard witout a coat and still be hot. I have a feeling this summer is going to be the same as with my son (who was due around the same time as these babies, but came three weeks early) becasue we're already getting 90 degree weather and have had several fires already- this time will be worse for me since I'm preggo with twins, I figure I'll just lock myself in a commercial freezer until it's time

Sounds like it's a good thing I'll be in Ireland over the summer. The top temp here last year was 26 degrees centigrade (not sure what that is in fahrenheit), and that was only for one day. The rest of the summer my husband and I were in long pants and long sleeves most of the time. So hopefully I'll be fairly comfortable...

Huh.... well my son was born August 27, so i was my largest during the summer too.... I didn't think it was too bad, actually, so long as you dress for the weather. I went on a walk first thing in the morning while it was still cool, or would wait until sunset.... other than that I stayed a lot in the air conditioning...

The summer is one thing I'm not too happy about being so pregnant. I'm due in the middle of September and it's going to be so hot. We have night time lows of mid 80 degrees and well into the hundreds during the day. I had my daughter at the end of January and it was in the high 80s when we brought her home. I know I'm going to be so miserable since I was so hot with DD even though it was "winter" LOL

I had my daughter in the beginning of June and it wasn't too bad, but then again I love to be hot. I am due at the end of June this time around so I will be careful not to say I am excited, because this pregnancy has been so different anyway. I enjoyed having Katlyn in the summer though because we were able to get outside a lot when she was really little, whereas if it were the winter we would have been hermits (our winters can go anywhere from -10 to 30 degrees - we're from Maine).

Linnis, it sound like your in the desert! 104!! yikes!

It gets hot here, but there are few days that get over 100. I'm in Michigan. The winters are very cold, w/ plenty of snow. often below freezing. I'd like to move further south for more mild winters!
