• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Do you not have air conditioning?
We have two windows units, one in the bedroom and one in the computer room. Sure would be nice to get central heat and air! Thankfully the car we have now has A/C. When I had DD our car didn't have A/C - boy, that was hot!

Linnis, it sound like your in the desert! 104!! yikes!

It gets hot here, but there are few days that get over 100. I'm in Michigan. The winters are very cold, w/ plenty of snow. often below freezing. I'd like to move further south for more mild winters!

I live in IL and the second day I was here it was 117...from about the second week in July to the second-third week in August it usually is always above 95.

When are you guys going to switch to celsius . . . .freezing at 0, boiling at 100 - simple. :p ;)

The hottest it gets where i live is around 25 C which is . . . . .multiply by 9 = 225, divided by 5 = 45 + 32 = 77 degrees farenhite.

Haha! First time I got sick being from Canada I didn't even think...go to the hospital and have a fever of 101...I'm thinking um I'd be dead then she goes that's about 39....haha

Or DH was on the phone when we we're dating complaining about it being 30 and I'm like "Really? In February that's so cool!"

I'm being Americanized. :p

Now I give myself away when I make my nephew say pardon not huh.

LOL Yeah, it took me a while to get used to the fahrenheit thing moving from England to the US. I still can't do the conversion but I now know what's hot and cold in fahrenheit and hot and cold in celcius. It gets more confusing when talking to my dad when he asks how the weather is and he doesn't know what I'm talking about in fahrenheit and I don't know what to tell it is in celcius :D

Same with my Dad! When it's 70 I tell him 15 and 80 is 25 and anything over ninty is "bloody hot" as he would say. I don't know if it's right but it's close... :p

Haha, did we take this thread off topic or what. Ohwell, the pregnancy forum isn't that active.
