  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I think more than 1 person should have the authority to add on pet rescuers / angels.....Bfly has plenty of time and I think she should be able to do it till Dr CF is back.......

Another person with the same authority to give people access to the pet forums sounds like a good idea to me. It's something we obviously need, given the current situation we're in.

I think it should be a second account that Erwin gives the same authorization as DoctorCF currently has. That way, everyone is clear on who can add people. If different members log on to the DoctorCF account and do these "team leader" activities, it may not be clear who is responsible, and whether the right people made the decision to add a new rescuer account.

Not sure if that makes sense or not. Erwin gave the DoctorCF account some special powers, and some special responsibilities for the pet rescuer team. We need to be sure that both are exercised properly.

Anyway, that's what I would suggest. Create a new account. DoctorCF is one account. Maybe something like CFpetMD or CFpetVET could be the other account with the same additional rights.
