UPDATE:
I got my grade two days ago and my Masters degree is official since yesterday!
(Technically I'm not an MA but a doctorandus or rather doctoranda, which is the Dutch equivalent; they changed to the Masters system now but my degree is still under the old rule.) My professor was really pleased with my thesis (and even wants me to use it as a basis for a PhD - I'm undecided about that; money is so tight at universities these days, they can't pay me at the moment) and graded it with a 9, which is a very good grade. I graduated cum laude, with honours! 
Ceremony will be in a few weeks, don't know when yet.
I will start in January to get my teaching degree and look for a job in the meantime. But first I will take a couple of weeks off to catch up on my
