I don't understand this.

This is my first post glad to be here.

While I was reading some of the threads here I ran across people who had doubts about if god is real. I heard someone here has been struggling for 30 years and never found the faith to truly believe. My question is why did god not answer them quickly instead of making them wait most of their life. I just don't understand why he would make them wait so long without an answer?

Often its not the case of God not answering but the case of God not answering in the way that the seeker wants. Many people build up an idea of God and then go out looking for that god. Some people hold on to their view of God like a Rottweiler holds on to a bone. The best thing to do is just ask God to guide us to His will and be ready for anything that comes.

True, too many people make up an image of a god in their own desires, but to only deceive themselves in their own imaginations. The second commandment says, thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image. When you cannot find what you're looking for, most likely you didn't seek in the right place. God is always speaking to us, its just a matter of tuning into Him. He speaks softly which means you kinda have to turn down the volume level of life for alittle bit inorder to hear better. Sort of.

I would say that by knowing God and Christ one should have no fear what so ever. Fear is not love, and love abides with Christ, not fear. They are opposites almost. So to fear to 'know' someone is not 'knowing' them, its fearing them in respect which is not the same. Although I might be misunderstanding what you meant by this line so Im sorry if thats the case.

I would change it to ' Those who walk with love of Him will know Him. '

Oh.. you can believe God answeers them there can be resons why

1) They didn't want to believe it
2) was looking for the answers in a different way
3) Wasn't ready or open to hear what God had to say

It's almost like us christian, God can answers us sometimes we hold up the answer not all the time it's God sometime she is waiting on us rather than us waiting on us. They aren't believing and not open rejecting the answer b/c it's not the one they want. God always answers our prayer it's just us getting them,accepting,understanding,and all

Thats a misconception/generalization.

Edit: Sorry, just saw the thing about not replying to questions, but I suppose this is different because I'm not resoponding to the question?
